Person just upgraded to a 11700k on a Z590I board and now their GPU doesn't display out. It worked with the 10700k when everything was still pcie gen 3. So I'd assume that's probably the issue, The riser cable being gen 3.

So you don't have a backplate then.... First thing I'd try is unplugging gpu, mb try using a tiny bit of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol and leaving to dry for a while otherwise hope your manufacturer(asus msi evga etc) will take it in for repair/rma

Definitely not dusty- I clean it around every 2 weeks. The fan curve is set as standard. I have even turned it to manual and made them 100% and it still pushed 80c

I did play with undervolt as well. It dropped it by 1.. It just seems like even my stable non running temp went up by 5+ used to sit around 30 now its 35ish.. I know the house is a little warmer being summer time and all, so that accounts for a few- but from 70 - 82 is too much. Just wasnt sure if anyone else was having the same issue. Paste it is...

Also, zotac does do queue and their decently fast. Their GPU there if you get the standard version are FE price or few hundredth more. The Halo are the top of the line @verbal crown
I did the queau on Friday and yesterday, you may have to be fast to get the cheaper GPU those sold out quick.

personally i wouldn't buy anything other than evga or asus, asus for their superior product quality and evga due to their superior customer support. but that's just me. no personal experience with msi cards tho, but i'd imagine as long as you can keep the temps under control it'd be ok?

There will always be faster/newer coming out - but it's unlikely that whatever 3090 ti/super will be much faster than a regular 3090.

Can a 20 degree gap between 80 degree to 60 degree for GPU temp can increase its life ?? I mean 90+ degrees are bad for gpu but going from 80 to all the way upto 60 can STILL increase its life ?? i am asking this because I want to choose between an extreme water cooled gpu and a simple fan cooled gpu .....
