i can spend $500 maybe $600
I havnt checked the msrp on the amd cards but you can get a nvidia at a higher chance for around 400-600 depends on model
does nvidia cards work good with amd ryzen 5 3600 cpu?
Yes
The brand doesnt matter its the performance you want to match with and nvidia has great pricing and performance with both intel and amd
So i would recommend a rtx 3060 or 3060ti with your cpu more leaning towards RTX 3060ti
Yes
As long as it has pcie 16x slot on it your good
And the mobo usally wont affect the performance too much unless your using too old of a board
also i have a power supply at only 550watts
I would upgrade to a 650w psu to be on safe side
i currently have a radeon 550 and since the last windows update my framerates got worse
That could be a drive issue or game settings as well but more driver bases
i used a program to update drivers but the problem is still there
vsync forces 30fps now
i've been so depressed cause i can't enjoy my games like i used to
Turn off vsync
Again driver issues can occur so i would recommend using ddu to uninstall your gpu drivers and reinstall them using the amd provided drivers
a 550 will have a decent amount of problems running games well these days
That too
maybe on 1080p low itll do well but other than that im not really sure
Not a friend
And its transferable
And I don't want it to break after the 400 days is up
Its comparable to vega 11 integrated graphics
yeah i am so desperate to get a upgrade but it's not easy in this market
Evga changed some of the rules related to warranty transfers.
Rx 550? Similar to 1030
Idk if vega 11 is similar to 1030
I think its a 5% dif between 550 and 1030
I was able to run bo4 on low settings ~50 fps on a 1030, 1050p tho
yeah its about 15% worse than a 1030
Oh mb
Yeah so i would recommend if you upgrade your gpu to a 3060ti for best results imo with your budget if you can win the shuffle draw
Or a 3060 if you win that also
okay i will look forward to the next shuffle
All i can say is your chances are better if you play rather if you dont even try at all and i wish you good luck to your gpu adventure
tyvm friend
No problem
Reason: Bad word usage
I have a question, which one runs cooler without sacrificing fps etc. 3070 OR 6700XT
Depends on the models your looking at specifically and also depends on the surrounding components and your airflow design
K
so i have montech x1 case, cpu is ryzen 5 5600x
and I was plnning on gettting this model for the 6700xt https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6700-xt-rx6700xt-cld-12go/p/N82E16814930059?Item=N82E16814930059&Description=rx 6700 xt&cm_re=rx_6700 xt-_-14-930-059-_-Product&quicklink=true
I built 2 systems earlier this year in montech cases. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone
Well get better your airflow then for optimal cooling
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YNQ4ZM1?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 @vital pivot @cosmic bluff
or asrock
Bleh pass
But still $200 overprice
I dont much about amd tho
I have never even heared of xfx speedstar
Xfx speedstar is one of the better models
Wow really how come they dont present themselfs as much, but i understand that they are trying to stay under the radar
None of the only AMD AIBs really present themselves as much
Powercolor, XFX, Sapphire, etc
I would avoid 6700xt. They are all nearly 2x MSRP.
Well i cant because i cant wait because i need the pc build by this week. Its for someone and he is going to using for school
Ah
Yup
AMD Direct - get the reference cards
He needs it sooner than Thursday
@slate ledge you could go with a 6600xt that's in a bundle and use the Mobo for a later build?
They aren't being scalped nearly as much by the AIB's
^
Maybe idk tbh
That's what I would do. 6700xt is too pricey for the performance.
Reason: Bad word usage
6700xt is horrible value for performance imo
You can make a case for the rest of the cards tho
Well 6600xt,6800,and 6800xt
Not so much 6900xt
At the mythical MSRP it's great
Oh yeah definitely
Man a reference 6900xt
Reason: Bad word usage
are you a filthy miner?
Look for eBay and Facebook marketplace for good deals
I have a gtx 580 because of prices going up
Good luck being picky with which model, but it’s not impossible
If it's a 8gb 580, sell it and try to buy a 3060/3060ti
3 gb
Gtx
Nubs
Oh. Gross
I have integrated graphics, fear me
Ok
10 FPS on 1.17.1 minecraft
depending on the cpu it can actually be good
So yea
Def an older kne
It really isn’t
I found in Ebay used 3080 about 1800 to 2000$
Iris gpus are decent
I can check which one but later
You are looking in the wrong place
Are all 3080 ti's LHR?
3080tis we’re 1600
my whole build is 300euros
Yeah but you make a lot from mining still
Yes it's lhr
It’s better than my laptop
Give good place to buy and trust
With a $300 euro build i doubt a good graphics card will help
Ram and cpu is bad odds are
https://www.newegg.com/zotac-zt-a30810f-10p/p/N82E16814500515
There ya go filthy miner @sacred finch
;p
Just sort for eBay deals by price and refresh
Still don't have non lhr and still expensive
I mean
Also microcenter
xeon e5 2650v2 and 16gb of 1600mhz
Lol
My point
Give me Facebook link for card
A good GPU won’t do anything
it's not that bad
Hey wait which makes more mining? A 3080 or 6800xt?
If any one have 3080 non lhr forsale tell me but I want it new
Does anyone know of an online shop that does GC repairs? Bought it off of FB so cannot RMA it
I don't know
rule 9 lmfao
Rules mate no selling or buying
Best shot is trying to find a local tech shop or something
i have a 8 gb rx 480
Reason: Bad word usage
im gonna come in the fans
What....
better cooling
Anyone selling a GPU for about a dollar? My budget is like $3, but I think I can be flexible and increase that about 25%.
Let me know if there's any options
ok i sell you my xtreme rtx 3090
@stuck hare can i buy it
how much?
1 rupee
Sheeeeesh
and also 1 girlfriend
I think i can do that
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH
Lowest decent gpu i can find is $500
what do you guys think is more worth the price? a 1060 for 400 or a 3060 for 550?
or to form the question better, which would be the better purchase
3060 for $550
1060 is worth maybe $200 max
550 isn’t an amazing price for a 3060 but it ain’t terrible
right yeah
the closest I can find for 200 are like the 1050 tis that are going for around 270-300
but I would think even then the 3060 would be the better purchase (I don't do much high end gaming but what's considered high-end now won't stay that way forever)
This channel is a cesspool of trolls atm
No it is pretty ass but like it’s better than the 1060 deal
Remember the days before covid, when 3070s costed 500$
Hello! I have a quick question about GPU's.
Mine cost 600 after tax which was 10%
Ask away
I just got all my parts (Threadripper 3970x and I want a 3090), do you think paying $2,500 for a 3090 is a good deal?
Damn bro 2500$ for a graphics card, u really have a strong budget
Not at all
What would be a good deal?
But assuming by a 3970x threwdripper build budget isn’t too big of a deal
Like under 2k
The problem is I only have 1.8k left to spend
and EVERYTHING is above 2,500 rn
Damn
Get a 3080ti instead
planning on selling 2 of my 4 sticks of ram and some help from selling another thing
I can't
Cousin wants to play flight simulator in 4k?
but he wont get that its not cheap
I guess
idk why he needs a 3090
and how he wanted me to pay
Nobody really needs a 3090
Well if hes mining crypto
That’s an issue in itself
I just texted him and he said "Fortnite RTX 4k"
You’re an idiot if you buy a 3090 for crypto
Amazing reasoning.
Ok well a 3080ti has the same perf
Are you a content creator?
Not at all
So he can cry over 12gb of vram he wouldn’t need
True
Then why do you need 4K fortnite
Fortnite surely doesnt need a rtx 3090
Not mine
Oh ok
No content creator plays RTX on 4k
True
I think Lachlan does
No he doesn’t
In his eyes he does need that 2000 fps gaming experience
It doesn’t look good
I play fortnite on laptop with rtx 3060 on 1440p with pretty good graphics
He won’t run it over 60
Ik but he doesn't understand that GPU's can't run 4K RTX 2000 fps
I play on laptop with a fifth gen i3 and integrated graphics
OoO nice
So a 3080ti would be more than enough
That’s not nice 😂
DONT let them waste their money
It's mine lmaooo
a 3060 ti is already more then enough
Reason: Bad word usage
So when are the prices gonna fall down?
Mother said so
Mother said she would pay half
My friend has a 3060
Ti?
they are right now but very slow
I actually think they’ll go up
and not all cards
Cause the 3060/ti are slowing production
Currently a 3070 costs 800
Insane money for a 3090
I just sold my used zotac for 900
The mikrochip production is very slow rn so we need to wait. Thats also the reason why xboxes and ps5's are not avalible in most places
FB market and EBAY
Do you think the prices will drop in a year ?
They are not 800
no nvidia said themself they are saving them up in a storage and gonna masivly release them at some point
For gpus
With some convincing it is
i have intel hd graphics 4000
ok
lol
yes
i have nvidia geforce 9300M GS
whats that
is that good
I have intel 5500u inteegreted
No they aren’t
its from 2008 you geuss
Cuz of COVID obviously
Ay but I made a decision
why did china mess with their currency
I wanna get a PC after high school next year
I'm getting him a 3060 and thats it
Get a 3060ti
I hope the prices drop then
Nah
And not a thread ripper
I'm not that nice
it can handle mc with ray tracing
You know when 3 months ago I bought a razer blade 15 inch laptop with rtx 3060 for 1600€
I thought this was much. Now the same laptop costs 400€ more
For whom is it ?
Already bought it
That’s not hard
Lucky timing
True
i think native without dlss
Ok
And also the laptop rn is almost impossible to get
2X Lucky timing
but im getting a rtx 3060 ti because i have a 240hz monitor
OoO
Yeah
at this point im getting a new prebuilt
I wanna see what frames I get on minecrsft now
a store that does prebuilts have very cheap ones
Ngl I bought a 240hz monitor when I had a 1050ti
I was dumb af
at this point its sometimes better getting a prebuilt instead of building a pc
Actually many people say between 144fps and 240fps its almost impossible to spot a difference
well a store that sells pc’s ( with win 10 pro) very close to me sells them almost for the exact price you would pay when building it without buying windows
I switched from 60hz to 240 so idk
Nice!
I have a 144hz monitor and I'm in love with it but I also saw the 240hz monitor and they look almost the same
lmao
Nice!
btw for the price for an rtx 3060 ( i think) back when rtx 3080 was released you could get back then an rtx 3080 for the price of a 3060 now
If that kid is playing games why the hell does he have a threadripper?
Ask him not me.
He about to be getting the biggest bottleneck ever
cyberpunk 2077 high settings
Threadripper with a 3060
Wow it looks just so awesome
but kills your pc lmao
comes with rtx MC
not to mention its on a 1440p
i could run it on my 1080
Never played MC like that
Wowzie
I haven't even played MC on a computer
Epicness level 100
i think my new pc has a rtx 3060 ti with a ryzen 7 3700x i think
Facts
Nice!
Nice!
I play mc java in 4k 120fps (sadly no shaders or ray tracing)
But I also play on max graphics on a laptop
yes
4k 120?
Yes
that is basicly i think what a rtx 3090 gets
yo but could I tell you something
yes?
Without fancy ray tracing etc
Yes
I think the computer will blow up
bc the CPU cooler is the WORST threadripper cooler
Its quite hot
It is so hot I cant touch it
Yeah I think that his computer will be overheating
And the fences are dying
But I get 4k 120fps gameplay for 30mins max and I need to stop
Oh dang
Who cares I play cubes
Just play 1440p at that point
Nah I just love experiencing cubes in 4k
maybe a rtx 3080 can do that
Ah yes, Cubes in 4k
It doesnt change a thing but I can flex on my friends
Absolutely no difference
keep in mind i have a 24 chunk render distance
Reason: Bad word usage
still beautiful af
40 fps is a great ammount
Holy moly this is insane
WHAT
the light is reflecting off of my held glass block
letts see water physics
in a less raytracing intensive world i get more
the city had literally almost every block raytraced
below water
\
above water
you can see above and below the water distorts everything
but i also have ray tracing on 24 chunks
which is stupid and uneccessary
i hit frame limit when i go to 12 which is normasl
24 chunks causes big frame drops in normal MC
1,7k aafter tax
yea
Actually I'm new in this server and I already feel like its one of the best tech-nerdy like servers I've ever been in
man are they gonna be manufacturing old cards or are just gonna forget about them 😭
like the rx series on 1600 series
i only have 300 dolllars D:
migbt be region difference idk
o
Nah
nah????
it goes for 530 buck rn
no it 500 dollars
16 series got discontinued a while ago
yeah
about
Mane what
Its from 300$-800$
they already discontinued it
At least from what I saw
By the way, witch is better for 1080p gaming? The GTX 1660 super or the RX 5500 xt?
5500 obviously for more budget gaming
Yeah it was only manufactured for maybe 2 years
I agree, I've been using it for over an year too. It's even better than the rtx 3050ti
most things are better than laptop GPUs
1660 super I'd say
1660 super is about 20% faster than 5500xt
I can't decide for the heck of it
but then thanks
3060 and 6600xt would be considered budget cards if they were sold for MSRP
It's faster than 5600xt too ig
but over 200 mate
5600xt is about 10% faster than a 1660 super
like people are gonna go back to console
Im going with the 1660 super in 2221 when the GPU shortage is over
lol
Well I've planned to sell my GTX 1660 super when the rtx 40 series rolls out and then Imma buy the rtx 3060ti🤠
Im just saying it isn’t optimal for companies if they discontinue under 200$ cards
would lose a lot of interest
They Prolly get less profit of em
I mean it kinda is profitable because they make more money off the cheapest cards
and people will buy them
No im pretty sure they would
since they would throw these chips out while binning or something
so why not make a profit
Thats what 3060s are, chips that arent good enough for 3070s
my specs are i have intel r celeron r g5905t cpu @3.30ghz cpu clock rate 3312 mhz memory 3.84 gb storage 238 gb
my graphics processer is intel uhd graphics 610
thats what meh thing say on hardwear thing
ok?
is it good
ehh not really
maybe in the 90s mate
D:
a whopping 3.3ghz :DDDDD
imma eat soup D:<
Sigma
whats that
sigma male
huh
type of male
Stuff kids on tiktok like to say
o
sigma grindset bro 💪💪💪💪
In all honesty it wont really game well, but its perfectly fine to like check emails and stuff like that
oh D: welp good think i enterd all ways in linux teck tips thing 😄
Rx 570 or gtx 750
570
570
750 is an ancient card
by a long shot
👍
1050 is worse than a 570 lol
Lol
Even a ti
What's a good cpu to pair with rx 570
most modern cpus are fine
Any 4 core
10400F and 11400F are decent budget options
man
huh
What about 3100?
Good
I honestly wouldnt
10400f is prob the only thing i can afford if meh try making a pc
im still mad at the GODDAMN MANUFACTURERS NOT MAKING BUDGET CHIPS
i searched it up its 100 dollars
man i want a pc too
Nah, i5 10400 is the lowest I'd go, if you're budget is REALLY small then i3 10100 or 10105
Thank god Pato is here
why whos pato
Me
i mean that’s essentially if he never plans to upgrade
A genius in this type of stuff
You're pretty good yourself
a 3100 isnt good
I didnt see that chip in a while
pato
Its the lowest end 3000 series but its worse than i think 4th or 5th gen intel
do you know a laptop i can get for 300 dollars
A chromebook
without an insane gpu i just want a good one for videos and playing roblox
i dont know what cores do
4 cores, but cores and frequency arent everything
whats cores
whats a apu!
cpu with graphics
basically not needing a graphics card
you can watch pewdiepie or something for a day or 2
huh
yall weird
Apu has an integrated gpu
uhhh
you see the image on screen yes?
all ik about a pc is how to instal cpu motherboard fans radiators and play games
image being drawn by graphics card or apu
oh yeah and i also know how to install the ram
and get displayed on screen
or gb ram or whatver its called
so cpu have graphics to draw on screen
Gb is just the measurement
huh
😭
i have a gt 1030..
all ik that ram is good for is for alot of tabs
awesome
Dude it's a beast. At least mine is
yes
@lean rampart u kinda sus
😎
no me 😎
go and eat soup
Slurp
yes
no u poopeatingbuisness
poop joke?
NO D:<
The 3100 is literally on par with an i7 3770
its a roast 😎
💪
It's okay if you bought it when it came out but there's way better options, you can get a 10400(f) for like 20$ more
What no lol
I'm an AMD guy
welp imma go take a shower i have absalotly no idea what u talking about
I was just looking at benchmarks and it is
Bro they're both multi billion dollar companies just pick the better product
What benchmarks??
Yea but like, the amd software's are easier in my opinion
Easier to overclock
Nevermind, the benchmark threw in a different cpu and I didn’t notice
No point in OCing AMD
Just turn on PBO and you’re good to go
@hot folio
Yeah I just noticed that now
Price for 10400?
It put a different cpu not a 3100 into that comparison
Uhh makes like no difference, on amd you want to be using pbo anyway, manual overclock is mehh
1200 af still 80$ ?
Whats the Price for 10400?
1200 af a beast
@heady turtle
Sold out in seconds before the pandemic
Was readily available for 140$ idk what it is now
Rip off
No just no
A 1660 super here I live costs 1100 USD
The af
3100 was 120
Exactly 20$ more for a 6c better chip
No it's really not the 1200 af is badddd
Well I bought it 3 years ago
explain why
here i live you can get a rtx 3060 for 2400 Usd tho
is it like a run down chip
It's on par with an i7 3770
@hot folio they must have swapped in the r3 1200
Ryzen 3 3100 wasn't available 3 years ago
Yeah they did
can i see a benchmark
Then whenever it was introduced. I don't know time
2020
I thought it was 2019
Ehhh i mean it's useable, doesn't make it good in any sense
what are good budget chips than ?
i meam i remember the i5 9400kf existing
and being very low in price
but i dont know about todays standards
I5 10400
msrp?
how do you check GPU that are on MSRP with out going on the website ever day?

But MSRP is basically a myth
CRY
Only the founders edition Nvidia and reference models are msrp
so nothing is msrp inless i become a hobo and leave my job and camp on a bestbuy or something like that
Reason: Bad word usage
I cant wait for the day when I can get a very powerful gpu like a 3080 for $700 usd
Yeah, can't wait for 2023
besides me graduating HS, whats so special about 2023?
well intel making GPU for phones/ipads
beside that nothing much
I was making a joke about how long the shortage will last lol
40 series, will have came out q4 2022 iirc
Intel will be making gaming gpus but won't be out for a while
but they did say its coming for phoen/ipads in 2023
they said there going to try to make some for pc
Phones /tablets i haven't heard about but okay, theybe confirmed the gaming gpus
Boys I got a 3060 ti
how much did it cost?
820
OOF
I know I know
usd?
yeah
...
ik
SUPER OOOF
ik
CRY
Lmao
SNIFF SNIFF
🍴💯
Still the card isn’t msrp
but better price
id say it is
That's about "too good to be true" price so I'd be highly skeptical
Wait really? For how much are they sold
$330 usd is the msrp price
no i mean u know
Most of them sell around or over $400 retail
and from scalpers?
At least $600-800 from scalpers
thats understandable..
ty for telling me ill make sure to be aware
I sold one on auction for $875 on ebay, so it can go higher still
Desperate people
or rich
Both is also likely
I have another question how u become techie
Prove to the mods and admins that you have experience and knowledge about at least a few areas of tech.
Help other people with their questions primarily
Ohh nice
Sounds about right in current market
Pretty nice for the market
FE cards arent being sold for $330 either
And how do I test my tech to be a techie
i mean
evga
is basically msrp
or the $330 msrp
and those cards are being produced but sold for higher
yeah but no gpus from any aib are selling for what they sold like in march
i dont think the $330 was a realistic msrp
im saying that even in march the msrp wasnt realistic
and then they were going for $400-$450 for cards that were supposed to go for 330 or 350
this whole event has been going on for around a year now
and then that transitioned to 500 600
thats like more than +60% nvidias msrp for the 3060
what would you guys recomend as a good card for a 2k budget
2k budget for what the gpu or the pc
total
im thinking of buying a pc but i dont have much, currently ive just got a gaming laptop with r7 4800H, and 1650 ti
most just games
main reason i havent shelled out yet is this laptop still works prefectly fine
300 is enough for a i3 2100 and 4gb of ddr3
1080p 60 at medium high in most games
try looking at the 3070
i believe its a 1440p card but its still good for 1080p
or
3060 ti
u gotta make most of the budget a 6600xt is like $400
1440p card? my 3070 does 4k all the time usually at 60FPS
🤔 really i couldve gotten a 6600xt at microcenter the other day
3070s are more available than 3060s i think
well its a 3070
just a lot of people use it on 1440p
im not surprised that its good on 4k
it should work smoothly on 4k atleast
if it didnt that would be worrying
so it cant run 4k?
if i was playing FPS games id keep it at 1080p for my tv's 120Hz refresh rate
i play racing sims and Aerocraft building games
highest res screen in my house is 1080, tv, monitor, laptop etc
i thought that a 3070 could run fpses at 1440p
it's a great workstation card
the big reason i have a 4k screen is i am a video editor
get a 3070 but if you want the money to spend on other things like better peripherals a 3060/6600xt is still really good for 1080p
thats what i thought my friends have 3070s
found a pc on newegg for 1800 aud
only reason a 3070 should run below 60 fps is if you are pushing it with a extremely demanding workload
Reason: Bad word usage
honestly i spend most of my time looking at pcs to buy, but not actually bothering to do anything.
neither
i just dont need a pc honestly
nope
If you manage to get everything at msrp that $2k system is possible

but thanks for input
To be honest a 3060 can run on max setting at around 24 to 30 FPS in 4k that is fine by me. If I want to play a FPS I would just go to lowest settings anyways.
yes but its not realistic rn
and its surprising that a high end system is still under $2k today
yeah i found a "Skytech Chronos Gaming PC Desktop AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3.60GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB, 16GB DDR4 3000, 1TB NVMe Gen 4, 750W Gold PSU, 240MM AIO, 11AC WiFi, Windows 10 Home 64-bit" for 1800aud
that pc has free shipping too which is cool
skytech chronos
I just got a ABS from newegg, if it turns out bad I'll just slavage the GPU and M.2 SSD in it.
sus
abs is good
prebuilt performance is like basically the same if you build it yourself unless they really messed up
i heard abs has good build quality
Yeah, I just had to deal with building my nephews PC I got for him for about 2.5k. the Motherboard was DOA then needed a Bios update so I just said f it to lazy to deal with that again.
skytech seems to have systems that look good but some systems ive looked close at don't have good airflow
Worst part is my ABS PC is on par with his but only was 1.7K +Tax.
imagine, living in a would having to add tax to everything
was it a 3700x with a 3070
both
no not you
I wish. I got him a 3060 and a 5600X
that sounds like a decent system still
Mind is a 3060 and a I7 10700F
Yeah it's good and better then he had the issue is mine is close to the same and almost $600 cheaper
I have a 1070sc and a i7 9700k
do you not have a GPU bottleneck with that?
a 1070 paired with a 9th gen i7
so i "went through" with buying the prebuilt, and turns out no im not elligible for the free bf2042, no theres no free shipping, and no theres no discount, also it ends up being 3200aud instead
yikes
Yeah I was annoyed with that too. It was tell supply's lasted
Yea I am bottlenecked im looking to get a new card right now but obviously they are super expensive
yeah that's understandable
i hope that 1070 does the job for you until you get your upgrade
also the cheapest 3070 i can get off newegg is just under 2k, without shipping
most cpu's are also about 200-400 bucks
then everything else too
Yea it does decent for a lot of my games but cant really play them in as high of quality that i want to play them in
Cpu's will unfortunately start getting more expensive
You'll prob have more luck buying from like pccg or bpc or skycomp in Australia
Yep, why I think it's better to get a Prebuild right now. Get the GPU at a okay price and get stuff like new SSD and everything and don't have to trouble shoot yourself.
Newegg usually doesn't offer the best deals overseas after shipping and import taxes are added into the mix
Didn't a gigabyte leak expose a new Threadripper coming soon?
ah yes a new cpu thats twice my entire bank acoount
5995wx, it was found on a distributed computing platform
you'll probably wind up troubleshooting anyways most prebuilds have at least one thing wrong with them
whether it's so much bloatware the computer feels like it has a venereal disease or something not seated correctly in the pc
Just a fresh install of Windows should fix that.
ah yes a new cpu that takes a entire circuit breaker
talking about windows, ive been using w11 for a little while, and honestly i like it.
i've been using it on my laptop
but i both can't and don't want to put it on my desktop
msi didn't give me a TPM :(
okey
funnily enough my onedrive still doesnt work, despite updating the entire os
actually forget that it just started magically working after months of inactivity
If you have a ryzen 2000+ or intel 8000+ cpu, you have the needed tpm
possible you just need to enable it in bios
and onedrive isnt working again
I went through bios and specifically enabled all the tpm settings
I have a i9-9900K and there is no TPM detected
It's a desktop not a laptop
The 9900k 100% has tpm
If you have a cheap board or might not be able to use the tpm, though. Don't get cheap boards with top end processors.
literally a prebuild straight from MSI i don't choose the motherboard bud
It's a MPG Z390 MS-7B51
Wow that's the literal intel version of the exact board I'm using
I have Security Device Support on and my TPM Device selection is PTT and the motherboard says there is no security Device found and it doesn't show up in windows
Hmm
Have you updated the bios using the file from msi, and not the prebuilt company?
MSI was the prebuild company
And yes I did get my bios updated from their site
Oh that's a system integrator then, kinda better than prebuilt
Well at the very least you have a tpm header even if the board doesn't want to use the one on the cpu.
Yeah so I have to go buy one
Although, it's possible to bypass the tpm requirement currently on W11
The bypass looks kinda complicated
hi, is 1660super is good ?
It's good enough for 1080p gaming

It's still in beta, and W10 is supported until 2025 anyway. Given time there will be custom images that have no tpm requirement that you can download or make with ntlite.
^
that fine
30fps
At that $400 budget? Nah that's integrated territory
im gonna go on a limp and say buying prebuilts is best bet for budget gamers
since cards are absolutely sacred on msrp price
even 1030s jumped
and also not to mention cpus
ill wait for next year
Won't be any better next year tbh
yea can already tell
2023 is when the new production facilities are set to come online
I feel that pain. You can still find some things for decent prices if you're persistent and determined.
Even secondhand is bad. Better off trying the Newegg shuffle and microcenter/best buy in person drops.
i guess you are right
i live in india, and in second hand, i get used 780tis for 300$
but im just gonna be storming the second hand market because my friend bought a 144hz panel for 120
thats a steal wow
it is
And that's not even Windows 11 compliant, ouch
im looking for a gpu around 200$, impossible to get one which is not 1050ti
oh man the 1050 selling for 500$ here
Its selling here for around 150$
Watch out for those cheap 1050 ti ones, that's the most common fake card
where do you live?
Saudi arabia
no, from a retailer
understandable
Still
no my friend bought one, packed and sealed, from zotac retailer
A lot of them are just GTX 450s with a replaced cooler
certified retailer
im probably gonna buy a prebuilt
best option
since i dont wanna wait that long
ive been finding some really good deals for todays standards
Prebuilts were bad before but looking more and more tempting with time
ya
That's actually not bad
the gpu itself is costing that much lol
yea prebuilts are actually insane
yea, but in india, a bang-for-the buck prebuilt is usually around 1000$
with a gpu
my budget is 700$
and no prebuilt has a decent gpu around that price
sed
bruh momento
i'm okay with my 1660 super so imma wait until the prices for rtx cards go down (in like 3 years lol)
idk about india but i just bought my first desktop for 770usd. heres a link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0922QS3ZT/ref=dp_cr_wdg_tit_rfb
imagine newegg seeing this and sending a a gpu lol
imagine
Hi all any trust it store sell rtx3080 for good price
