It’s by far the loudest part of my system, runs at a pretty consistent ~45dB. Not especially loud, but kind of annoying. I’m not sure why EVGA decided on the really dumb texturing on the fans they put on there.

How many fans do you have in the case and what kind of case are you using?

Sometimes, lack of proper airflow can cause the fans to stay at 100% on the GPU since its trying to not overheat

An h510 (not ideal, I know) with a few Noctua fans. I’ve ran a few different CPU coolers as well. Temps aren’t generally horrible but the fans, even at lower speeds, are just loud fans.

The H510 have horrible airflow, the front panel which is solid minus the air inlets at the top and bottom of the removable panel doesn't allow for good airflow. Its one of the worse case you can use for a mid to high tier GPU that runs hot.

I’m aware I just need to upgrade my case one of these days, but I was specifically curious if people have tried different cooling methods for my GPU model since even when the fans are slow and it’s not really under load the sound is noticeable.

That's your problem, you should have an equal amount of intakes to your exhaust fans. Heck if you can, have three intake fans in the front panel.

My recommendation to you is do this:

1. Have 3 fans for the front intake (if they can fit. 120mm fans)
2. If 3 fans don't fit, then go for 2 120mm fans for the front inake
3. Whatever you decide for intake fans, just make sure that you at least have two or more

Pretty much, your CPU and GPU are starving for cool air so the GPU fans are running at high RPMs due to them fighting to cool down the GPU itself.

One of the biggest issue from the Omen is air flow, the case isn't the best since there's one 140mm fan up front and two exhaust fans, one top mounted for the 120mm AIO and a 92mm exhaust fan in the rear. I had an Omen 30L with a 10700k and the 2080 and the fans were constantly at high RPMs underload. I would open the side glass for more air flow but it was enough. I eventually mounted extra fans in there but ended up building a PC from the ground up
