It's Nvidias ai upscaler, so say you were using dlss at 1440p, it would actually render 1080p but upscale it using ai to make it look better than 1080p but not as good as 1440p

I think it really depends on how you're going to build and use it though. Good Intel mobo's are more expensive than good amd mobo's. And less compatible backwards. If they have a 1st gen ryzen they can potentially bios update the mobo.

But if they had 9th gen or older Intel they gotta get a new Mobo which increases the price.

It's big sad nobody can get a hand of any new GPU's. The research I need to do for school (Deep learning junk) requires a lot of VRAM and the Nvidia architecture, so a 3090 fits the bill. Quadro 6/8000's are about the same price used as a 3090 but don't have nearly the performance.

very inconsistently one or more particular apps will just start bugging out graphically and its not a huge problem but it gets very annoying when playing games
every now and then my computer will just lock up no warning and no bsod and the only way to continue is to hard reset the computer via the reset switch on my case or holding the power button

This is a VERY specific question that I need help with. So basically what would look better and run good enough. Let’s say I have an RTX 3080 graphics card. And let’s say I have both a high HZ and 1MS monitor but one is 4K and one is 2K graphics. Which would be better? The 2K at high settings with ray tracing, or the 4K at high settings with ray tracing?
