Definitly; you want to be able to play games over the refresh-rate of your monitor. But if your system can only do Xfps then the refresh-rate of the monitor should be lower than you can play the game at.

Generally 144hz/165hz is the sweet spot for that for modern desktops

Newer gaming laptops will have higher refresh rate screens if the specs in the machine should be able to get the higher refresh rates in most games

Here in Aus mining and holding doesn't impact taxes but things like desposing (selling for fiat) of the crypto or exchanging it for another coin count as capital gains tax events. My government does offer a 50% discount on CGT though if you hold for 12 months or more before selling.

Mining profiles are different to gaming ones. Mining when tuned correctly puts less wear on a gpu than gaming with it typically. For example my 3070 only uses 120w max power and doesn't go above 53c while Mining.

No, no, and no. If you need something to display video you can get a GT 710 from best buy for $50, they have GT 1030 for $130. Either one of those is a far better deal
