Ok, it's looking like it will be very difficult to do this cheaply. As an alternative, I'd suggest getting a small monitor, something like this meant for a Raspberry Pi that still has a full array of inputs and a 720p 8 inch screen.

If you really wanted to brute force it you could theoretically buy an app that would listen for a video stream over the lightning port, then buy the lightning adapter, then buy the capture card, and all the associated cords.

I've done a bit of digging and it appears to be legit, I've seen a few people post up the projects they did using ipads as R Pi monitors. (not just from the official page) You'll just need the official Apple USB adapter and all the associated cables.

@livid idol I got my fans today and changed them out on my card. Was a little bit more difficult than I had thought. Had to seperate the cooling and card from one another before I could take the plastic piece off. The fan that was bad was on the powersupply side. I'm guessing that it was getting too hot and causing the card to mess up more than the Processor side was. Plus it was running at max temp of like 94C. Now just playing things its hitting like 50C.
