This is false and totally dependent on the game and useage scenario. The only indicator of a "bottleneck" is if the CPU is 100% and the GPU is not. Even then, bottleneck is a terrible term. For example on valheim, my GPU is 70% and CPU 30% at 1440p.

@tender mulch, I finally ordered my graphics card with a power PCIe power connector. Got a gtx 1650 6 GB. I waited forever to get and answer from adobe. First they would tell me to buy this for photoshop then it would not work for premier. They kept sending me back & forth. Took about 2 hrs, but my power supply is big enough. It is made by Asus so it goes with my computer, but the 6 GM cards need to be connected to the power supply. What a project, but not having to buy a new computer. I already have a 7i and it flies for me now. Thx so much for your help.

ok well this one said I needed one in the specs so I bought one. I could see that I had a pin connnector on my power supply ( 15 SATA pin to a 6 pin GPU) that will work. Opened my computer up & looked,so I feel sure I can connect it. I think someoen recommends putting the drivers on first then connecting is easy breezy.

Principaply yes but if you use linux and do loads of tuning and lotta research you can optimise better and make more money but just use nicehash if you're running less than like 6 gpus, they choose the most optimal algorithm and stuff for you

You can do that to be slightly more efficient but mining wont hurt your card, it will just do math like it would if you were gaming, just make sure you have a decent fan curve but your gpu fans will probs go up to 100%
The efficiency will decrease your hash rate slightly but decrease energy cost as well that's why they do it

Hmm well i mean you can see, if your gpu gets too hot all that will happen is it will throttle and increase temps but if you open msi afterburner you can change your fan curve to keep it cooler or just run your fans at 90 or 100% constantly while mining or whatever you choose

I require a double monitor setup but i only have hdmi monitors. Can i use a display port to hdmi cable for this one? my 5700XT was a lot louder than my 3070 but my 3070 also has smaller fans, made specifically to keep noise down
