Mining is going to be similar to gaming on your gpu, so no. There's possible benefits because instead of the gpu going from hot to cold when pc turned off etc, it stays same ish temp so should be okay, go get some cash. Would recommend using the nicehash calc tho to see if your card will acc make profit, if its 3 or 4 years old you might loose money because of electricity cost
