Dante+Orion+Nebula+Augustus+Dorian
A lot of good choices. Most versatile team for any path would probably be:
Lyria-Nebula-Orion-Iris-Dorian
I'd still keep Dante for levels that don't have Lyria in the front, because he is good at clearing the enemy team rather quickly, and Augustus, because he has a really nice synergy with Orion and turns magic damage into pure damage.
However, Augustus is rather bad in level 13 adventure (which will take you long to get there, but still ...): His damage output is magic damage until he applies enough of his debuffs, and then it turns into pure damage. Thus, in level 13 he fails both against magic damage and pure damage resistance.

Yeah, that should be quite easy and obvious. Almost as obvious as realizing that Solfors strategies aren't that good when you have a look at a few others, especially for level 12, but not limited to it.
The only routes I am married to from Solfors is Adv10... Can't remember the last time I followed their scheme for 12

That being said, level 10 map is not a welcome sight. I managed to finish it with 4 chests, sometimes even with some less skillful adventurers ... but damn, the error margin is hideously low.
There is margin for one in Ayourk's strategy. My edit allows the one mistake to be done by either of the three.
But that strategy also introduces fighting against three eye buffs, increasing the chance of a failure a bit.

Yup. The eye buffs are +300% damage twice and +500% healing once. I recall the damage being a problem for one decently skilled adventurer before, but never spooked me.
The only eye buffs that are a real problem, imo, are the 100% Damage Resistance/Reduction
Well, the increased energy regen can also be quite nasty if they keep your team de-energized, stunned, silenced etc.

I'm not sure if it's straight wrong. To me it seems OK, basically one of the two default options on Fandom. However, I'm happier with my edit of Mandalorian's strategy. It allows the first player to take the middle path, making it fairly non-interactive.
As for level 11 map though, Solfors is quite wrong there, recommending a path that lowers the error margin for first player from 2 to 1. It's still recommended for the first player to make zero mistakes, but still - it's better not to remove all chances of success after two defeats.

I mean, sure, if there was the option to go from 16 directly to 15, then Solfors would be the strategy to go for, allowing fairly simple clean-up taking just one step, and only costing one boss attack, but ... it's not the case.
Either way, I mostly use self-titled strategies (for maps 9 - 11) and Duo Spiral for level 12 (which I also authored).

I think it may be fairly useful variant of Solfors strategy, prioritizing boss killing at the cost of having slightly higher chance of the boss being too much (Dorian's health was getting somewhat low at times, everyone else was having a good ride).

Yeah, I call that one "Solfors on steroids". It sure makes it way easier for the middle player, and gives them so many extra moves that they can deal with a lot of possible troubles elsewhere.
I personally don't recommend doing Solfors in level 12, but when someone does it and falls asleep at #35, don't mind me if I took a very different turn ๐
the issue with this is that it kinda requires you to have damage of all types, or at least not just one type
for players doing adventure 12 this might be kinda expensive

Yeah. My general advice is: Don't do Solfors, it is a stupid strategy. But if someone is still using Solfors after 4 years of playing, this might be the best way to mock them.

yes, he doesn't work on adventure 13 because of 100% buffs, but in 12 or below, he can be used in magic reduction buffed locations because he will still bypass and turn into pure. and he does get affected by pure reduction

and with this version am not sure if DAnte will survive enought so that isaac neutralize those mages.. , in this case am not sure if martha or Dorian would be better

How do you want to do it?
If #17 is still standing, the only way to still get all 4 chests, is if Blue takes #17 instead (meaning the buff is removed). Then he goes back to his orginal route, and Yellow kills the boss by himself.
Blue can't make any fail, and yellow at most 1
anti-osh is meant for long fights; in other words, martha isnt needed IMO. Maybe try to stun-lock Jhu instead? Rather than using a baby martha who will neither survive nor heal (too short of a battle)?
another thought is you could try to neutralize the energy buff using jorgen
or perhaps use astaroth to get a second chance

To be honest, scrolling down doesn't help that much. Hericus #2 (a.k.a Solfors) isn't better than Hericus #1, and Bowser isn't better than my adaptive strategy that I put on the top because it shows how exaclty you can adapt to failures.
I'd say the upper trio is generally the best, where my strategy is basically a mix of the better ideas in Hericus #1 and Bowser. My strategies Spiral and InsideTheBox were mostly made out of curiosity, but their damage control by first player only having 14 steps lowers the chance of there being only margin for 1 error for the other two players.
That being said, there aren't too many different strategies to figure out in levels 9 and 11. Level 12 is more fun.

Hericus #2 is a lot better than Hericus #1.
In Hericus #1, Orange ends on the buffing squad. If Orange fails green will have a very hard time on #6. In Hericus #2, one fail for Orange means all the buffs are still down
Oh, that is the old misconception that was explained numerous times, but some still failed to read it or to understand.
The basics issue is: Do you think green should just take their path without making any alteration and settle with 3 chests? In that case, taking the shortest path towards the boss area is OK, there is no need to clear #14. You can go e.g. 18-19-25-31 instead, which works for 3 chests even if orange does 4 mistakes.
Or, do you think green should clean up after orange and still try to go for 4 chests? Well, I do, that's for sure. In that case, in Hericus #2 you can only tolerate one error for orange, #1 makes a second error safer.
For players who can clear the orange path with 0 errors 99 % of the time, there is hardly a reason to differentiate between the two strategies. For those still struggling a bit, having bigger error margin for orange and calling experienced adventurers should things go a bit wrong is probably much better.
But what would I know, I only made several strategies myself.
Yeah, as Kokoth said, Hericus #1 is better as it allows the middle player to mess up twice (making it much more approachable for players just trying adv 11 or 13-11) and for stronger players that want a proper 4-chests it makes practically no difference. Hericus #2 is only better if you have weaker players running the outside routes, and you're willing to accept a 3-chest.
Yeah, you are correct to say there is some niche in which Hericus #2 can be seen as better. Each strategy has some advantages and disadvantages, and even if some strategy may be pretty much obsolete due to being worse in every aspect to some other strategy (e.g. Solfors level 12 is just plain bad), they may still live due to their notoriety.
Anyway ... when orange loses in level 11 by Hericus #1, then green has to take a detour. And rather than explaining it with words, I can just show one image from my guide on Fandom, it's from Sad Orange variant.
I frankly have no idea what is the plan for those hardcore fans of Hericus #2, unless they just give up on 4 chests the moment orange makes their first mistake.
There are also my own niche strategies called Spiral and InsideTheBox, changing the error margins, though they are also far more interactive, so I doubt they will ever get really popular. I think my self-titled guide is the definitive solution to level 11 map, including troubleshooting when something goes poorly.

I recall an adventure 13-11 situation from last year, shortly after I joined this guild.
- The player on the orange path made a mistake (or two, I don't recall).
- The player on green path also made a mistake
At that point, I was invited to try and save it. I tried and saved it, 4 chests. 13-11 is still somewhat forgiving

Yeah, well ... I finished 13-10 several times with 4 chests, even though it's very unforgiving. As for 13-9, it forgives more defeats, but it still doesn't allow many failures for one player, and unlike 13-10, salvaging the boss chests once one of the path fails spectacularly is nearly impossible, betting on someone killing the boss through 95% damage reduction.
Anyway, the only well known strategy I find really offensive is Solfors 12 ... I even came up with a seriously meant solution to a sleeping loser on the buff at #35, or an utter fool that sits on the same place after bashing his head against #29 until his brain fell out. the only trick here is, if ur team isnt maxed, you have to play around with the heros a bit (swap out auggie for another mage on pure damage res nodes, etc.)

ikr... sometimes, you get all these buffs and still nearly lose bc of the 100% magic resist, i usually use dante meta for this reason. eliminates unpredictablity

It affects everything that is applied with magic damage. While Gus does pure damage once the Superconductivity is applied and magic penetration is sufficient, the initial application of the buff would need to connect as magic damage. Conversely, if you use Gus against pure damage resistance, he stops (re)applying the buff once he converts it all to pure damage, giving a poorly selected team a chance in this case (I already won with it in 13-11, but it spooked me).
Similarly, the 100% physical resist blocks Jhu's pure damage from his basic attacks, Yasmine's hits are also negated, so she cannot apply her toxins that deal pure damage. So, yeah, not a big fan of these full resistances.

But what makes you extra annoying is how you seem completely incapable of seeing the game through the eyes of players who have 5 heroes near max, 3 more getting close to that in development, who then run into a team with magic resistance and Helios punishing their physical damage dealers who rely on criticals. But yeah, just say "easy" and show not a tiny bit of empathy to anyone. It's not like anyone who knows you expects any.

I would be quite interested in some challenge of wits and mechanical skill that we could compete at to see if you are really this good or just that kind of a guy to call everything easy just to look like a champ, but anyway - to a newer player, this either makes them look stupid or removes their sense of achievement when they finally win their first 13-12.

I'm not really the kind of guy that has a good recollection of everything. It's already almost 4 years for me since I did level 13 first time. It was smooth sailing, hitting a new level every few weeks, until I reached level 10, which was a bit of a roadblock that took some effort to clear with 4 chests. With level 11 still too tough for my little heroes, I stuck to 9 a bit more, then I transitioned straight to 11, only clearing 10 enough times for the quest.
exactly how i did it
For 12, I was often struggling with #13 camp, it has a big health bonus and sometimes it felt unbeatable. And I created Spiral strategy because Solfors was slow and the #25 / #29 levels sometimes a bit tricky, which meant that when someone failed to clear them, they were already on the buff camp, and the path somewhere else was getting too long.
Moreover, I was not fond of all the waiting, and I wanted a strategy where the sides can go first, and only bother asking someone strong to deal with the middle when the sides were cleared sufficiently well.
And when I tried transitioning to level 13 first time, I had 7 defeats and trust me, I'm not the kind of guy to just bash their head against a buff without adjustments to the team. I had maybe 600k hero power, and the buffs on the right side were just too tough for me, and I'm not even speaking about the damage resistance buffs (though, I had decent magic heroes as well which I couldn't use in some levels).
Funnily enough, my guild mate who was much bigger was doing the left path, as there weren't too many players with good mages. But I had quite a versatile bunch of heroes already, I had a fairly decent magic team as well. So in the end, I tried the left side and cleared it with zero defeats, and I stayed on the left side since, until I grew much, much stronger, and I could deal with the middle path, which is actually quite difficult.

Though, if you were one of the strongest members of the guild, helping others with one of the more difficult paths of the adventure that is already easy for you made sense. And finding a party for level 12 was possibly still tough.

I rarely mess up, but I was trying to climb quite early. That's also why I came up with Spiral - it is a strategy that allows the side player to try first, even in a private adventure if way too unsure, and only invite some help afterwards.
I already knew Spiral when I tried 13 first time, and funnily enough, with 7 defeats it was still 4 chests. I lacked power for sure, but I made some smart decisions, and my guild mates were much bigger and they both did clean jobs.
when i join a adventure.. and people cant pass certain points even when they did wwhat they could.. all fine by me.. but when they fail cause they do wwhatever i will 1- tell them what they should have done so they learn 2- when ther run arround like chickens no path criss cross.. i tell them to stop fooking arround lol
other then that i even join messed up adventure to see if the boss can be done.. at least get that.

Yeah, both in my current and previous guild, we've kicked players for their poor performance in adventures when they were joining and then running around like headless chicken, disappearing for days or joining adventures that were far out of their league over and over again, ruining any adventure they joined.

Hehe, I ignored one of the season quests this time. There were two consecutive quests on adventures, and I already planned to raid on the next day. Well, worst case I lose Cosmic Box x2 and a Silver Chest. Quelle fromage.

Now that I think of when I dislike failed adventures the most: It is when there are event quests asking for it, especially during Portal Anomaly when you get tons of portals and you really want to raid a big one.
The impact of adventures on my game state is almost non-existent, but if they add level 14 or 15 adventure, perhaps there could be more pet potions for the "Secret" Wealth shop ๐

It has no secrets . But i agree its anoying.. have to change some teams .. But then again people i play with tend to skip 13/10 day if you know what i mean ?

What do you mean by no secrets? Anyway, I'm quite willing to go for it from time to time, but sometimes I just go for a 12 instead and hope for a better map on the next day, when I don't want to go for anything crazy.
I mostly save 13-10 for opportunities like this one. I wouldn't want to raid level 12 during Portal Anomaly.
no secrets meaning.. it doesnt bother me playing it.. i wont lose. But like i said its a pretty anoying adventure. Its a team effort and i know its no issue for me.. but i cant speak for others. Any other adventure map in the 13 cycle... map 10 is the most avoided 1.
i dont play in whale guilds or skilled guilds. its pretty boring for me. so i always end up with players that lack skill... its fun from time to time.

Yeah, 13-9 has more room for error, though I've seen more failed boss kills there than in 13-10. To fail boss in 13-10 would be a huge strategic mismanagement.

Funnily enough, 13-11 with its room for only 3 errors is the second easiest in my opinion, 13-9 can pack a nasty surprise for an unprepared adventurer on the upper path and I've seen even some fairly good players get smashed there.
seen it as well.. and most of the times (when i encouterd such fails from players) they didnt even notice the resist type.. just not payig attention.
The resistances are one issue (physical resistance tends to be the most troublesome as most players have a lot of physical heroes and fewer in other damage types), but there are also quite often really nasty teams. I can blitz through 13-12 without paying much attention, but I am always very much vigilant while playing the upper path in 13-10, especially since my variant of Mandalorian's strategy involves one buffed opponent and a detour for an extra camp, resulting in room for just 1 error ๐
Anyway, I wouldn't underestimate 13-12 either: It is perfectly doable with 700k team on the right side and 600k on the left side if they have some skill. Left side is easier as long as the player has a good magic or pure damage team, right side can be rough and even someone around 800k can find a defeat or two. But it's the middle path (in my strategy including #25 and #29) that is one of the most difficult paths in the game. But the error margin still makes it super safe for an experienced and powerful player.
Still, when I play it, regardless whether I took left or middle path, I just blitz through without second-guessing. So from this point of view, it is really easy in the late game stage. But at earlier game stages, it was a fierce fight.

Well, 13-11 is kinda easy, when it comes to power, buffs etc. A few unpleasant +250% health buffs, but for the most part, no big deal. Still, it's 3 errors and you're out of contention for 4 chests. But the boss chest is quite safe anyway, even with 6+ defeats, given that you take the correct route (my strategy on Fandom is mostly just a troubleshooting extension of existing strategies).

I think 7 days total (since the start) is the rule, don't remember anything specific about after it's been completed
By saving up 5 charges I hope you mean (at most) 3 plus a few in the mail from prestige rewards (keep in mind the prestige cycle is on break atm)
If you time it right you can have 7 charges ready for one go without any special mail; 3 max charges, 3 days in mail from guild quests, and the one in guild quest for the day.
A little step out of the optimal path on top path. So I asked my guild mate on bottom path to just go for a full clear, and when he successfully killed all on his path, I skipped #29. Not exactly mentioned in my strategy on Fandom, it was actually how I adapted to the situation at hand. Sure, I could just take the full path (and if successful, get 880 points again), but 4 chests require just 860 points, and a dead boss. Hence the shortcut, to make sure I get a second chance if something goes wrong.
Well, as you can see, nothing went wrong, so now I have nothing to do with my remaining 1 AP. If there was a defeat on either of the paths, this shortcut would cost us the last non-boss chest. But in this situation it was better to skip.

probably not, the issue here is you can't use massive slow damage (i.e. amira), because of that 1% thing, and you also have to deal with the 95% damage reduction... at first thought, im thinking get rid of fluffy & electra and instead opt for a more offensive build, but you'd still have to watch out for that pesky vampirism... short answer, probably not with your current heroes

Yeah, I think Kokoth shared a team to beat galahad with 95% damage resistance, but I think it involved yasmine to stop the vampirism (and keep up a steady stream of damage)
So, we had an interesting 13-9 today. Using my own strategy here. Mid player took an extra step to capture #31, and cleared his path just fine with 0 moves remaining. Top player took the optional detour to #30, but then the +250% health buff on Isaac in #25 caused him to suffer a defeat, and that demoralized him, so a while after that, he went against #38 with a mostly physical team, which was a rookie mistake that he usually wouldn't make.
So, with them taking 2 extra steps and leaving #43 not taken, I could afford to take a speedrun through the bottom lane, skipping both the #7 detour near the start, and then also #28 and the nearby #0 buff (well, maybe I could have taken that one just for a bit more physical damage reduction). I had 6 attacks against Corrupted Galahad when I reached him, and 20 % physical resistance from #3 buff.
Took me 3 attacks with this team. There was support and healer buff (support +100% attack, healer 50% faster cooldowns), so I went for both Nebula and Martha, not sure if it's optimal, but they kept my team alive even when Galahad actually fired off his ultimate at the team rather than to the right side where it only hits Yasmine (sometimes he even got fully canceled by Yasmine's interrupt and Lara's stun).
After killing the boss, I took #43 and with 700 VPs and 2 moves I have no use for, we have 4 chests ๐

i found myself using her recently against some fluffy teams.
if you dont have a flag of readiness with 12% PA and Sebastian in pos 5 (so he can ult right at the battle start before fluffy can cancel it) playing manually and having yasmine tanking and delaying sebastian's ult after her ult, makes opponent's fluffy counter Yasmine's ult. then auto makes your sebastian's ult protect your team again. ๐

For 13-9 when Galahad is buffed-up with 95 % resistance? Yeah, I think so. She is generally good against bosses, but against Galahad and Cleaver she is especially useful because both of them have some "slow vampirism", healing by small increments. Celeste's anti-healing can work as well, but it only starts after she switches back to Dark Form, and it blocks ~ 130k healing, possibly more with magic attack buffs.
Meanwhile, Yasmine blocks over 20k per each instance of healing, and all it takes is just a single stack of poison applied by a single critical attack. With Galahad and Cleaver, this means that they almost entirely stop healing.
So, let the haters say Yasmine is useless. Sure, she is fairly easy to counter, but I haven't really encountered any hero that was so much fun to play. I recall playing Yasmine-front and killing some much stronger opponents by precise timing of her ultimate. And she can still surprise today, especially as the meta keeps shifting, there are openings for her. And she's very useful against many different bosses. Still, I kinda neglected her artifacts after red levels were introduced.
He still kinda works, though new heroes appear in adventures, so Lyria can cause him some trouble. Still, adventure enemies haven't grown since red artifacts were introduced, so they cap around 120k. A 180k Dante will likely kill most of what adventures can offer, though in higher levels, you must be wary of damage resistances.
Dante's damage output is physical, so if you want just one team that wins most of the time even against 100 % resistance, your best bet is something like Dante-Orion-Heidi (or maybe Gus, but he is terrible against 100 % pure damage resistance, converting Orion's damage to pure damage as well, so Superconductivity debuff protects enemies).
Or possibly, Iris is also a good mage that deals pure and physical damage. Again, she can cause you trouble by turning some damage into pure damage, but in her case, it can be avoided in manual play by not using her ultimate.
My approach is just focusing on PvP, creating different hero teams with different damage types. I have 25 heroes over 170k power, so I have a lot of heroes to pick from when facing some challenging teams in an adventure.
The only downside of this team is that pure damage resistant enemies basically ignore all but Dante's damage most of the time. Your best hope is that someone kills Gus and then Orion slaughters them.
Yeah. All pets to violet first before you focus someone to violet +3 with fully charged items. Most of their patronage skills are useful even when they are not maxed.
well, pure & magic res teams both fail unfortunately cuz gus's debuff doesnt apply, that said dante can often just solo on those nodes

Yeah, it usually works because Dante can usually kill them all on his own.
Works in adventures, too, but mostly requires a big Dante as he will be required to carry it alone when there is resistance to magic damage (Gus can no longer apply the debuff, so Orion and Gus both utterly fail) or pure damage (Gus applies the debuff, but that counter-intuitively protects his enemies, because they are resistant to pure damage).

yea its cuz superconductivity cant apply when gus is dealing pure damage, so eventually it wears off and then gus starts doing magic again, also enemy had sebastian which allowed gus to deal magic damage
Yeah, but every time he hits you have to wait 6 seconds before anyone can deal magic damage (unless they have higher magic defense at the moment, or seb clears the buff)
ohh, didnt know so the key there is Sebastian on the enemy team, if no Seba the Agustus dmg will be lot lower... am not really cleared about 100% pure dmg reduction nodes, like which heroes are affected 100% on dmg, or which ones are affected partially...like for example, Yasmine, does she gets 100% dmg reduction or just the poison , but not the critical hit, prolly heidi does get dmg reduced 100%, but all those that has like some skills, with pure dmg but the rest dmg am not sure how those pure dmg nodes works.... i dont have like a strong pure dmg team, so i really dont know
all pure damage is negated, but other stuff still applies
for instance with someone like sebastian his basic attacks still work but he can't battle song pure damage
Yas works ok against pure-resistance nodes (the poison damage gets blocked, but her physical attacks still count), but against physical-resistant nodes she is useless as she needs her crits to connect to apply the poison
same with gus, he's useless on magic resist nodes but okish on pure nodes
If you have any other decent dd or support it's usually worth it to switch them out, but yeah, you can get away with it

I'd say this is the safest 13-11 strategy provided that first player is really good at avoiding defeats, provided that 2nd player takes bottom path: Meanwhile, Hericus #1 is good when 1st player makes no mistake and 2nd player takes upper path. Solfors is, well ... Hericus #2, the worse variant.

And I also made this crazy strategy mostly just as an experiment, albeit it works quite well if you are unsure about first player avoiding all defeats, or if you want to sneak-attack the slacking minions in #23 and #24 where nobody ever attacks.

The main difference is in securing the #40 eye buff if you are unsure if 3rd player will be good. If 3rd player is entirely useless, it won't really make it a good adventure, but if they are just pretty bad and they fall a bit short of #33, you can still kill the boss without going against 95 % resistance buff. If you take the left side, ending at #34 (bottom) or #35 (top), and the next player fails to beat #40, then you're up for a nasty tough challenge.
Yeah, I don't really pay attention to top/bottom, usually whomever goes second goes around the backside to clear the extra eye

Yeah, the rightmost buff is better to be cleared first, as the other side of the boss is more optional. If your guild only has some really good adventurers who never fail, then pretty much any of the familiar strategies will do.
If someone keeps getting more than 3 defeats in 13-11, then they should stick with 12 anyway ๐
But hey, if you have some weaker guildmate with mostly physial teams, trying out 13-11 for the first time, it's always good to be cautious.
The other strategy (Inside the box, or Spiral) are mostly for fun, mostly just for dusting the cobwebs in #23 and #24. I was wondering why the squads are even there if there are no paths that deal with them and still work, then I came up with these two ideas.

The only thing I dislike about my strategy is, the hardest path is the upper one, so when I am to start the adventure, I can't just go up and make it a non-interactive. At best, I can clear most of top path including #30 (making it safe for bottom / green to skip the detour and get some extra margin for error), and then come back later.
I don't recall ... so, the upper buff to #7 is the damage resistance and the bottom is a damage buff? And #17 has a +300% energy buff? That's one of those I prefer to avoid (though, I'm mostly unafraid of +300% damage, and there are many ways to mitigate the +500% healing buff).
In 13-10 I plotted a path that fights 2-3 damage increase buffs and one healing buff, fighting 3-4 buffed squads to allow less interactive approach with more error margin. In 13-9, there is +500% healing on the upper (blue) path because it enables a better path with less backtracking.
Generally, though, I prefer avoiding hitting live buffs if there is a good strategy where I don't have to.
Yeah, the top buff is the damage resistance bottom is damage, and then 17 gets buffed with extra energy
Ah. So that's why DeiSolios works better than Hericus when 1st player goes for the middle. Also, more error margin for the top path. Well, if you can consistently beat that +300% energy level, then I guess it's a fairly good strategy to run when you're the first player.
Though, even with a good error margin, top path won't be an easy one anyway. It's the path that keeps creating failed adventures for my guild mates. Recently, I managed to kill buffed Galahad, and it only took me 3 hits, but ... it's not very pleasant to see blue lose multiple times and fail to reach the boss.
The player taking top path needs to be quite versatile and shouldn't rely much on physical heroes.
I might be biased as an author ... but I think my strategies are either optimal or quite close to that, especially when it comes to regular adventuring with as little interaction as possible. It surprises me how many poor strategies are used in guilds, often leading to more waiting than necessary or bruteforcing of buffed up teams.

Damage buffs, well ... they may matter early on, but sooner or later you'll learn to ignore these for the most part. Damage reduction or energy gain increase though ... these are unpleasant.
Especially on #13 when certain locations have 100% resistance to either physical or magical effects.

as a 100% physical resistant rufus is something you can only encounter in an adventure, this is a adventure related topic for me. i have no otherr use for morrigan, but i will soon be able to at least think of going for adventure 12.
I think i am not the only one with problems or thoughts like that..
Encountered only 90% resist Rufus heard of 100% but never saw rarely do Adv. 13 and with those i done never saw Rufus in that node. Also for example In Adv. 12 you can encounter some specific teams that are same every day and in Adv. 13 on Adv. 12 you see some different ones.

Adventure 12 is probably the biggest difficulty spike there is, 13 is much, much tougher squads, but in 12 is where people who do not understand how you beat such and such heroes will get wrecked almost all the time. 11 got a horrible boss, and occasionally somewhat troublesome 80% damage resist, but you usually can just march through on auto with the same team without caring much as long as you at least is a little mindful of the damage resist, and even that you can often ignore before you're strong enough for 12. Try marching through with same team on auto on 12....it has to be really, really strong most likely.

If 10 allowed a couple of misses, people would probably play it while waiting to be strong enough for 11.
Since you don't really gain more for 3 chests in 10 than 4 in 9, the basic advice in our guild has always been do 9 until you think you're strong enough for 11, do 10 once or twice, just get 4 chests...raid for beat boss 5 times. Don't come back again other than to maybe help other people get 4 chests.
basic rule I tend to use with guildies is 500k for 11, 600k for 12. There are exceptions, but just general strength
If you know what you are doing, have a good and fairly versatile team, play it well on manual, have Seb and Jorgen, have something that can deal with the both kinds of 80% resistance squads on 11....doing 11 at 350k and 12 at 500k is feasible. Maybe lower if you're one of the crazies with Dante or Karkh at 120k+ and rest of your heroes at half that.
My rule of thumb is that tank+main damage dealer should be above 100k for 12, and you need to have Seb and Jorgen.
But if you play on auto...probably make it at least 110k.

My best Squad is about 380K been doing 11 for a while now, success rate is not always 100% but still worth it

Hi. I want to know your opinion about such hero as Rufus in adventures. I think itโs a broken hero for this mode. As you know in this game only three types of damage (physical, magic and pure) and Rufus unkillable with magic and pure damage. So if you play with physical DD such as K'arkh, Yasmine, Qing Mao, etc. you kill him without any problem, but for magic or pure damage build itโs impossible to kill him. So why this hero so OP for adventures? Because in Arena you can choose a team without him when attack and kill everyone except him when defend. The same for GA and GW. But in adventures you canโt ignore him. Today I played adventure where all three paths contained at least two Rufuses. As a result, we didnโt get all the chest despite of killing him lot of times. Yes, Iโm running magic build team, but i convinced that one hero canโt be so OP. For example, Cornelius also quite good against magic build team, but he is not broken. My suggestion that Rufus shouldnโt have endless reincarnation ability or maybe excluded from this mode. What do you think? If you share my ideas, then react with a star and may be devs do something.

i know this is hard before geting to level 130.. but there are allways 3 routes per adventure
so if your below level 120, u will still be doing 9 or lower.. there routes are not determined by your damage type
so just pick one with no rufus
he's very easily countered with morrigan as noted.

and even without dodgers
but than u have to be really good manually
3rd way: deactivate ults and kill him with auto attacks (not by satori and celeste of course)
Guys if you run phisical damage team Rufus is nothing special. But it is quite expensive to boost two teams

if u think it is an issue, start tracking rufus and 2 others for reference..
if after a month or so, rufus is still much more present, reach support with your collected data
if not, by that time your morri will be strong enough
My main team is 107 level with orange + ranks. But the most strongest phisical demage hero i have - Qing Mao only 65 and violet rank. And i don't really want to put resources into her, because i rather put them into my main team.
as QM also deals pure damage, she is also not that suitable as a rufus counter

but keep in mind, that in the long run, u will only loose one week of progress to get a hero from 5k to 35k
i can see, why u struggle.. i guess u are doing adventure 9 now but under lvl 111 its hard even without hard counters sometimes..

Yes. for a long run it's a good to have 2 or more teams. But i only play for 4 months and try to not put all my money into the game. I rather donate it to charity (what i regularly do)

Personally only consider bringing out Morrigan if Rufus is on a position with 80% or more physical resist buff. Cain and manual takes care of him otherwise.
If you have a decent team, any team can kill off the other 4 heroes. So you sub someone like Yasmin or K'arkh into your team and go manual when the rest of their team dies
In my team, Orion kills the rest and I've plugged in both Yasmine and K'harkh who make short work of Rufus
Rufus really is ridiculously OP on defense against magic teams. I actually get the Oracle telling me I'm about to get beatdown in the dungeon by teams with 40% of my power and 35 fewer levels just because they have Rufus. Morrigan really is the best answer. Buffing a character that much just to counter one hero in one mode is stupid, but you have to do it. Particularly in adv 9, there are days where every route has at least 2 Rufuses, so you have to have her.
I just have Morrigan on default in my dungeon team because of that ๐

You have Morrigan, who probably killed him. And because of her violet rank i guess she is not your primary hero. And you were lucky, cause your mages + aurora were not the last who attack him. But i agree that morrigan is a good choise because of skeletons which number increases probability to finish Rufus with phisical attack. But i wanted just to pointed out that it isn't ok to create such a hero who alone counters 2 out of 3 types of damage. There is no such a hero who completly counters physical attacks team, isn't there? So why they endow Rufus such insane power i don't know

Morrigan is the key, or you can add Jet to the team. With them there is nor resurrection for Rufus.
Morrigan's necromancy skill blocks his ressurect, same as with Asta.
Rufus takes magic damage, just cannot be killed by it
I can even kill him with Lars and Krista if you land a killing blow with a basic attack

The other day, Rufus died to a basic attack after 20s, I wasn't even looking as my mind was focused on killing everyone else first, then use Cain to finish him off later ๐
On manual you can often just flip Celeste to heal mode, do not activate Orion etc and just let the basic attacks do him in.
Plan can get messed up by 2nd, 3rd and 4th skills that activates on their own and deals magic damage like Orion and Lars has.
You cannot control Orion's 2 and 3 skill which do magic damage. With Celeste , yes i flipped her to healing mode. So i ended up killing everyone with my primary team and then attacked Rufus with my secondary team.

Celeste 's basic attack is magic and hence cant kill Rufus
yeah not saying it's possible on 100% physical resist node, just that rufus can be killed by some magic heroes (just not celeste or satori) basic attacks
The thing with Rufus is: you can kill him with magic or pure damage. But then he is instantly resurrected with some health. Therefore you need Morrigan or Jet, to counter the resurrection.
When there is 100% resistance against physical attack, how should the basic attack from Krista kill Rufus?!

@vague valley Aurora can be quite an effective damage dealer with a good MP buff. this was an adventure 12 squad 12 fight against a 200% health buff and zero daily buffs for either team

Aurora doesn't exactly kill Yasmine easily, but Yasmine has a really hard time when Aurora is present. (Because of the high dodge).
Nebula can be helpful too (for removing the poison debuffs).
as a guy who dont have any of those heroes, i use phobos paralysis since most ppl invest in her so i wont bother knowing who has the highest physical attack
drop rates would take the force of law to happen (maybe the force of one of the social platforms more so)
we would probably be lucky just to get drop tables for all RNG boxes/chests in the game (like the Season boxes/chests) that would at least give consistency across the game.
The adventure chat could do with being made copypastable so that it's easier to use translator for those who like to use that.

Yes, that is not uncommon, those guys you have to warn and possibly kick.
Only way to deal with the problem is to throw out people who can't play nice in adventure (I'm generally in favor of giving them warnings and a chance to improve, but not really more than one).

Here is the team that I use for Adv 11 and 13 when its an Adv 11 map. for Adv 11 your Satori can be 20k and you just need to let his fox marks build up, then have him ult when he has Nebula's attack buff. For the Adv 13 version of map 11 my 47k Satori does the trick since I patron Melin to him for the extra MP.

astrid and isaac don't use energy so jorgen's skills don't matter to them
you have everything i would suggest for that: martha+faceless for speedups and a hero that hits often anyway (orion)
if you can build a team around 400k power using those 3 (and of course 2 others), u should be fine (i use martha and faceless around 40k, thats plenty for PA11)
my fast attacker is yasmine, i buff her with my main DD karkh (full 1. artefact)
than just use manuall fighting and copy martha with faceless.. orion will do the rest

Presumably it was linked to the Tristan event, though....so got deleted along with everything else Tristan related.
No, there was a bug in adventures that happened if Tristan was on the enemy list.
So 3 portals in a mail labeled "Game Message", which expired. Not sure if the Codes+Portals had expiration on them, usually they don't, but codes having "natural" expiration since can't use them after.
@iron coyote @torpid hedge as Blackfish said, the 3 portal charges email gift had the expiration date at 2AM 17th and it was specified in the email. There was another gift, 3 portals and 12 books if i remember correctly, which didnยดt had expiration date but you needed to use because after event the books were useless

No, Merlin does not speed up energy gain. It's "Cooldown", which affects the other hero skills, but not the main skill.
Somehow the game must think you already got today's portal. But if you didn't change time zones, I have no idea how.
If you are missing a portal charge, it might be idea to contact Support.
What IS happening, is your other skills are happening more often, and these attacks are what give your hero energy in the first place. So you should be getting energy more often, but it's just a side effect.

its possible that it actually increases celeste attack speed cuz her violet skill is technically a damage dealing skill...it might also increase green skill speed. in general it doesn't directly increase energy gain, but kinda does indirectly cuz it activates skills faster, therefore gaining energy faster

On the flip side, since the GM were the one giving those out, and the portal charges are pretty valuable, I could imagine a LOT of weird stuff happening. Yeah I used to dread fighting Jorgen, but now I use Axel as my pet, and now Satori is part of my main team. Enemy Jorgens die a lot now. (I have my revenge! ๐ )
The problem with Portal Charges is that is the scarciest resource in the game. We cannot even buy it with emeralds if necessity comes!

Dodge team are good - Ginger's ulti charges them (of course ir dodge skill and artifact are levelled up). Forr others, any hero with armor artifact will help survive; Asta even more due to his ulti.
Lian will also shut her down if she doesn't have Seb.

I got mad last weekend, I needed chests to have more action points, & an adventure that we could have all 4 chests, we got everything to start awesome, one individual ๐ didn't defeat the enemies, he went for the cleaned path and then tried to beat the buffed enemy (instead of destroying the tower that buffed the enemy) ugghhh, so I had to use my reserved portals... I am still salty about that...
I'm finally lucky in my main, got an amazing group of people and NO adventure issues (other than folks legit just getting beat/bad buff day/etc)... always hit titanite/activity and generous with package gifts, can't wait til Winterfest with this group, gonna be EPIC

The final boss of a chapter usually has a high difficulty spike. It's pretty normal for me to get 3 stars on everything else in a chapter before I beat the boss.
And I'm normally have 3 stars on half of the next chapter before I bother going back to get 3 star on the previous boss.

probably because it would simulate reality too much then and it would give an edge in guild war to some people. top gold guilds already have several maxed hero teams on defence and if you could test those teams in guild battle over and over before your actual attack, it would be detrimental for them

A weaker team could win in a test, but still potentially lose in the real thing.
A stronger team that wins in a test should have 99% confidence when attacking a weaker team.
I can't see how that would be unfair for the stronger teams.

I've entered adventures where the boss was already dead & the one who started it left, because the second player stayed there. So as long as 1 person stays in the adventure (& the 3 people quota hasn't met), you can enter it and loot it, lol
Of course, for me manners maketh people, lol, so when I enter like that I kill most -or all if I can- the remaining enemies, so we can get all the chests if possible ๐
you can finish the adventure with only you two (killing the boss and getting 3 chests) if you follow as this:
Team 11078... should go first & kill 8, 12, Buff 16, 23, 26, 25, 27 & 20 (8 action points)
and you R0yal go 15, 22, 25, 21, Boss 24 (5 action points)
but of course, you two should win every battle (except 25)

Yup, #10. But, once in a while I run lower adventures to help guild members out (and show off a bit). 6 is about as low as I'll go, though.
still #11 is better tbh
11 is as low as I am willing to go since the rewards are still acceptable

if somebody wants to join our guild i ask them if they are able to do 11.. if not, they have to wait and grow
10 is awful and i did 9 like half a year ago.. wont go back there now

in adventure 11 u can see from the buffs which route is taken (considering that your guildmates know the working ones)
but without asking them u will never know if they had fails

u can see what map u will get by looking carefully at the picture before startign the adventure, u can see the boss in small ๐
and yes, its harder. it has 100% resistance buffs (100% sure) and also i think all teams are maxed out (not 100% sure there)
so if u cant kill, lets say a 100% physically resistant rufus, do not enter it

I can attest that I've entered adventures when the group creator left (& the boss was dead), but the second player still was there, so I'm guessing the requisite is that if someone still is in the adventure & the 3 people quota hasnt' met, then you can still enter

Exactly true! On my new server I have twice entered where two members took the boss but needed a third to clear a target or two to get 4 chests... I popped in, took down a few targets and boom, easy peasy.

I meant a way to get all 4 chests i already looked at the wiki.
Scroll to the very bottom of the wiki page and there are lists of paths (PDF i think) that all players can use to guarantee 4 chests in EVERY adventure

I don't think there'a anything that counters her much, she just enhances the power and effectiveness of those standing next to her.
So counter the ones next to her.

My advice for Nebula. She has a skill attacks the lowest health hero, so Axel can be helpful in keeping your team alive. Or possibly Astaroth.
And I believe Sebastian can protect from the energy debuff.
Hmm, question; Looking at the fan kit, there doesn't appear to be what I'm after there. Is there a way to request high quality images of the maps for the adventures? Looking to make a nice set of maps with the various routes, but short of getting some nice screencaps, was hoping there was something in the Fankit.

I did, however, 1-shot #10 boss for the first time. Haven't tried #11 yet....but will do, soon!
Of course, level doesn't tell the whole story. Very little of it, really. It doesn't show if I made 130th today or months ago.....nor what other investments I've made.

My rule of thumb is that it's worth trying when your tank and main damage dealer are both at least 100k, more if you run on auto, also more if your team has counters you usually cannot handle.
Like Rufus/Isaac for magic teams, Corvus for Yasmine/Keira etc.

Create another character in other server, upgrade to team level 40 and go to sanctuary to see. I use my abandoned first account to see daily buff when in adventure.

What's up with boss from adv 5? He destroys my team everytime. He ults non stop until my team is all dead. I am lvl 74 with a strong team for my level and I've seen teammates with less strength kill him but somehow I always die in the first 15-20 sec because he starts ulting non stop

also maya is not good vs magic hence the failure , she is more of an excellent pure dps over time, which she doesnt get here ofc

I personally like to use Celeste, who blocks Ishmael's healing. So the only time I have trouble with him is during adventures that boost his energy, which make him obnoxiously close to immortal. When that happens, I use a control hero to get rid of his energy. Phobos is my personal favorite contol hero, though Jorgen and Nebula do the job quite nicely as well.

I feel like that would backfire ๐คฃ, especially with the stronger guilds. They can be very competitive, so letting them adventure together would open the doors to sabotage.
(Which, at the very least, would be amusing to watch, but very frustrating for those in the situation)

but we will have some new adventures with the new game mode coming in november

What is the meaning of "hold point" on some of Adventure strategy maps? I played adventure 8 today and followed the green path on this strategy: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/hero-wars/images/4/46/Adventure_08.jpg When I came to postion 10, the strategy suggest holding and not attacking tower #23 before the boss is defeated, but the other players cant easily progress unless tower #23 is taken down as I see it.
Here you definitely need to attack #23 and then hold - until your next target is debuffed. The descripion on the pic is not the best one) Nevertheless, in some adventures it makes sense to hold until another person attacks the boss - to be able to finish the boss if another player didn't succeed.

that idea was also bought forward already, not sure if u have done it or somebody else.
that mode would be open to sabotage by whale guilds that do not want resources going to other whale guilds.
or if u have a really friendly silver league but one guild isnt, that one guild could wreck the whole experience for everybody, if u limit each adventure to the same league (to prevent whales from ruining the experience for small players and vice versa)
and i think that league system would be a must have, because of the different playstyles u have if u compare gold league and mid bronze league, sometimes even top gold and bottom gold
and as we will get asgard soon, not being there at the same time wont be much of an issue. of course it wont have the complex routes u ask for.. but at least it engages the whole guiild, so i think its a good thing, even with just being another pay to win gamemode
its nice that you have to unlock each bosslevel, so that we have time to learn more while beating low level bosses
i think for older guilds, the first few week will be very relaxed... in my guild everybody is level 130 and has more than 400k hero power in their first team and a good (most heros at team level) grand arena
