Gold coins in the tower are given in several ways: by opening the chests, by getting tower points for each battle, and then when exchanging the skulls earned from each battle. So the total will vary from day to day.

tower tends to be considerably weaker than your own team, just keep leveling your team and it really should be easy

and focus on main team only... more heroes you uprade = more difficult tower

I just concentrated on yasmine to start with, glyphs, artifacts, etc. got all top heros to have 3 star on first artifact, so the ult bonus happens every time they ult. keep skills at max level for hero level. do it every day, so you get more skips, and don't lose hero's on early levels. Fight in manual mode, so that you can keep ultimates from one fight to use early next fight.

use all five heros! if you've skipped a level, you get 5 hero's with full energy, ready to ult straight away, someone like Khark this can be a one hit kill for three of them within first seconds.

early game, don't spread yourself too thin, concentrate on top 5 or at most top 10. don't bother getting hero's if you can't level them up to near your top level almost straight away, they'll just use resource that is better spent on top 5 hero's.

That's incorrect. It's not based on the team level, but the power level. You can easily beat 130 level heroes with 100 level heroes, if the latter have strong artifacts, glyphs and gifts of the elements.

Tower strength IS based on team level. It is well documented. Even in the beginners guide. Of course one can beat the tower with 130 team level and 100 hero level. That is what one facet of the game is about, hero synergy. However, most don't have them at that stage of the game.

That may force you to be a little careful, sometimes it's helpful to have a cheap Jorgen to put in against heroes with dangerous ults to prevent those from happening at all.

I don't like Yas and Keira together generally (or using Yas for main team), so could look into replacing one of them.

my opinion - the tower is where you get gold. I started planning as soon as I started playing. built up Yasmine, so she almost wins on her own. built up Khark, and Keira too, either of those do enough kills. I don't play on auto, so that I don't use an ult unecessarily at the end of a fight. good to have full energy at start of next fight

I normally get the 40 boost if I can, then get whatever else I can afford. I don't worry what it is. I don't normally get the 'all hero energy', or 'all hero health'

my teams used in tower are 300k plus, enemy teams are normally not yet above 200k. my team level is 127, my highest hero's are all 110

Also, since all the heroes start all charged up, it's good to increase few other heroes at a certain level (mine were at level 80 once I got to 130 team experience level), so that you can use them for particularly difficult tower levels as expendables that could weaken the opponent team. Once you reach team level 130, no matter how strong your heroes are, then it's an easy raid.

It isn't worth at all, it's barely 10k gold for less than a 100 tower coins. If you have some extra left over, sure it's okay. But forcefully not spending Tower coins for barely any gold is a terrible idea, and avoiding to purchase these buffs will lead to a compromised Tower result.

The goal of the tower is to get to The Top. If you need those coins, sure spend those. But if you dont need them, why spend them. it is basically free gold and gold is the most needed item in the game (beside totems)

Some violets take 20, like Pastor's Seal, others, 50, like Staff of Morana's Nimbus - Recipe. Blues take 5, like Dragon's Heart and Needles. So do Greens, like Skull Crusher. There are blues that take ten fragments though, such as Magic Hat.

Best items you can get in Tower are Orange and Violet sadly after Red showing not Violets anymore and you need Farm Violet to make Trines popular item in many high level Red itema

Well, you can get much more by playing in Dungeon and unlocking the titan soul stone shop, where you can exchange extra titan soul stones for golden coins. At a point where getting golden coins at the tower is almost useless.

Behind this simple screenshot is a story of grit and resilience. I usually have no problem reaching the top of the tower these days. But today, on floor 27, my first floor after doing the free skips, I lost most of my best heroes . . . Alvanor, my tank/healer, and Kai and Heidi, my two most crucial damage dealers. By some cruel algorithmic fluke, a ducking level 93 absolute evolution Yasmine showed up on floor 27. No amount of retreats and redo over an entire hour could save my heroes. I was humiliated and nearly rage quit.

By a combination of sheer luck and some carefully timed ultimates, I was able to avoid losing all my other heroes and to keep limping up the tower, until two lucky resurrections in the 40s brought back Alvanor first, and then Heidi.

I've always hated Yasmine. 🤬 And today has only increased my hatred. Seeing her fall always puts a smile on my face. But the lesson I've learned from today's immense grind is to never give up.

I'm level 107. 😊 I have a low level Helios but unfortunately don't have the resources to invest in him right now. It's usually easy to clear the Tower, but every few weeks or so I get algorithmic flukes like a level 101 Karkh (who can one-shot my heroes using his ult), or an absolute Yasmine like the story I shared.

Haha I totally see what you mean about the dodge. Heidi is one of my most crucial heroes, and the more I invest in him, the more likely he can dodge Yasmine's ult. Other than dodge or health, I've got to save up my ult energy on the previous floor. Right off the bat on the new floor, a simultaneous ult from Kai and Heidi can usually kill Yasmine before she has a chance to start her never-ending string of ults. If that fails (i.e. Astaroth resurrects her), then some well-timed heals from Thea come in clutch. As a last resort, I retreat/restart and hope Yasmine ults the right hero next time, like Heidi who can dodge.

I tried some battles without Heidi (on guild chat battle challenge so I don't lose any crucial Tower loot), and oh my gosh you're right. I'm also thinking back to the occasional times that I lose Monke in the Tower, and it's too late for me to retreat. When that happens, I really can't finish the Tower in those few instances . . .

it shouldn't be to late... just when she dies - hit ESC - it pauses fight instantly and lets you click retreat.. and it is much faster than trying to click this button in corner with mouse

Oh my gosh I didn't know Esc could do that! Thanks so much! Right, I always used the pause button in the top right corner. That half-second or so that it takes to move the mouse can sometimes mean it's too late. I'll be sure to keep my hand over Esc from now on!

I would use Helios if I had the resources to invest in him. Until that day comes, though, I typically depend on a simultaneous ult from Heidi and Kai at the beginning of the battle, to kill Yasmine before she can launch her endless string of ults. This works about 80% of the time. The other 20%, likely because Astaroth resurrects Yasmine, I've got to hope that Heidi's dodge kicks in (for some reason Yasmine loves going for Heidi first), or restart and hope that Yasmine attacks a hero with more health next time.

don't start ult right at beginning of fight.. let your heroes do couple of basic attack first to reduce health of asta and ult kai then heidi - maybe asta will resurrect himself first
