sorta reliable, just a pinch of rng, after like 3-4 abilities, get the bot as close to half as possible, and the priest as close but above the bot, and once priest starts healing, save cornelius ability and use it as soon as priest is done healing, pre ability if you want too, and hope you get a crit

I mean, it doesn't matter that much the exact heroes you use in campaign, it is really a matter of power. That said, 3 healers might be too much. Do you have Nebula? If so, consider replacing one healer with her, she works really well with orion.

Astaroth is fine. Any of those healers would work, except for Lilith, not a good hero. I personally like Thea a lot because she heals the whole team with her ult. But it seems that she is better at the beginning, and later on, Martha and Dorian become better options.

Here's my thought: The heroes YOU ALREADY HAVE for your main battle team are capable of winning in Tower and Campaign once they are strong enough... To obtain and build heroes solely for the purpose of beating campaign and tower is wasting resources that should instead go to your main battle team. All I am saying is be patient, get as far as you can in campaign and then you can repeat already conquered positions for EXP and such until your heroes are strong enough to move forward.

congratulations! as you will find out eventually- campaign is far behind development of heroes and Seymour (final campaign boss) may have been a challenge in 2018, but now with pets and new heroes scaled, campaign isn't even an accomplishment anymore. PvE is now ToE and Asgard, tried with my weak dante and not even surprised with result

even seymour can defeat easily with 2 heroes, I'm sure there's a way for just 1 as well ...

and as to your question on how to cancel seymour's attacks, you have to destroy his orbs at each stage (red/fire damages him, blue/water heals your heros, and green/earth does x10 damage for a couple seconds which is usualy completely useless but whatever)

jhu can be literally 10k. The power for your DD can be lower if you choose someone better than Karkh. And the power level of everyone can be lower if your Martha and faceless are at 130 for speed boost+ magic defense boost.

If you get asta a bit stronger, you can completely remove axel too if you're aiming for low power.

I did it, the key is to activate Helios artifact to give armor against bombs.

I found the most effective way to survive was to use Fenris to blind the bomb.
Using skills that push enemies works really nicely too (Like Dante and Qing Mao's main skills).

I used Asta/Karkh/QM/Keira/Martha with Fenris so I had option to blind or shield, and used QM to drop armor while K and K did the heavy damage

First time I beat Khornak "I defaulted" to Dorian+Orion (Axel patronage) with rest of team just getting those two to 3rd wave. Ended with Orion surviving the bomb because Axel, then spammed rockets and healed himself up because Dorian. Dead Khornak.

Then went back later with Helios and can't remember if it was Astaroth or Martha for armor artifacts to activate to defend vs bombs.

Second account used a mix of Dante to interrupt bomb release and Martha armor artifact when Dante didn't have energy to do that, a purple+2 Jhu with the skill that gives him % of enemy health pure damage maxed, some other skills invested in, and levels provided the damage needed to kill the king.

There are a lot of tutorials online you can look up but AStaroth is a great hero for levelling up, as is Celeste and Helios. Qing mao is an excellent damage dealer

Keira and Qing mao work great together

Aurora is a good tank if you invest/level her up a lot. Maya/thea are also good healers.

But you do need to promote and level up characters if you want to be effective. You do that by fighting in the campaign and collecting items that heros need

Among the other strong characters I have, Dante and Yasmine seem to be worse, Jorgen doesn't seem to help. I also have Faceless. Then also QM and Phobos, but they're only about 40, I would probably have to improve them. I haven't tried all the possible combinations of my strongest 11 characters, but I noticed K'Arkh attacks well if I remove Corvus, but it doesn't quite do the trick. How should I deal with the energy pump?

It seems like a really big nerf to their performance in areas where they're supposed to excel at, for no real good reason.

all lvl 80, violet+3 for asta, karkh, faceless, violet+2 for martha, orange for yasmine. Yasmine is lvl 93 with absolute star

asta martha 4 stars, karkh 6, faceless 5

oliver violet 3 stars lvl 91

so how far can this team go in the campaign?

Went completely uncoventional... Used DD as tank.

Yasmine/Martha/faceless/cornelius/keira with Oliver pet. Worked for me, I would barely survive the 1st wave (sometimes had to restart a few times for RNG to help Yasmine ult early enough), the 2nd wave went easier.

The other thing to do is... run manual mode, wait for Cornelius AND Faceless to be ready to activate their first skill. Fire off Cornelius and then Faceless immediately and then you can go back to Auto mode. You want Cornelius/Faceless to one-shot the Priest so that he is dead.

dont stress campaigne to much before you reach chapter 14, because all teams will get you there at some point
if your team works pvp it will also work until chapter 14
after that, the missions requiere some other teams to get them done fast, but u can still just level your main team and do it with 100k more instead of leveling 3 heros to 35k

for example, lots of people will tell u that u need corny for chapter 14 and that u cant beat it without him.
im now at the final boss and i never used corny (or anything thats out of my top 6 before beating the bridge in chapter 15)

campaign teams usually can be arena teams too, but however heroes like jorgen who do well against heroes wont be that useful as jorgen's energy reduction works on heroes who have energy, but mobs do not have energy(i think) so they dont have any energy to get reduced

I don't think I understand what either of you are trying to say.
In the first place, the game still gives us chests when we get lots of stars, so we are still getting "rewards to level up".
The only thing that really changed is the puzzle is gone. The chests are still there.
