I'm thinking a more offensive minded tank like Galahad, Mushy & Shroom, or Cleaver. I know rusty hook is obsolete against Seymour but just to give you my idea. Genuinely curious of the difference between investing in health and armor? Does it have something to do with energy gain?

I'm personally not a fan of having multiple control heroes on a team. I worry that their control abilities risk interfering with one another and end up not getting the most out of each of them.

I'd say it's hard to be much more control-esque than paralysis, completely immobilized and even lose energy. At least with someone like Lian the charm effects can be knocked off from other heroes attacks

M&S is goated against Seymour, I haven't heard of Galahad's performance post-ascension skills, and Cleavage is trash. I use Cleavage. It's like using Asta but without the resurrection (against Seymour at least)

I used Corvus, but Corvus really isn't good for it, just happened to be the tankiest tank I had available.

I mean, some heroes aren't as effective against campaign or asgard minions, some aren't as effective against Outland bosses, some are better against Osh, but I do feel that Cleaver has more offense than Astaroth for sure

Corvus is more of a two-way player I'd say, he has some offensive and defensive capabilities, especially used in conjunction with Morrigan, although I think we can all agree that his violet ability leaves something to be desired

Technically, Dorian isn't a vampire. He radiates vampiric aura and has a spell that provides vampirism. But he isn't undead. Keira on the other hand, is a ghost... Changing her to undead for 1 attack isn't much help.

Your first point is a matter of relativity. Aurora and Corvus deal modest damage, but can't do offensive heavy lifting the way a Yasmine or Dante is able to. M&S are quite strong once you've got 2-3 copies grown on the battle field

if you normal play (1-2 hours per day and f2p) works it round about 1,5 year to level up the team level from 0 to 130

the first 50 levels runs fast, but after that it goes on slowly

if you have a strong guild gold or silver, it works fast to level up some heros

Every chapter will differ in the enemy types. You will face different challenges along the way. You can hard focus on a DD like Dante, you will be better for it. If you spread your resources around too much, you will suffer in the mid game.

For me, Keira was pretty much a staple, she has good aoe damage and even pure damage which will become important in later chapters. Martha is a strong healer and provides armor artifact buff and speed. Aurora is probably the most rounded tank, dodge and magic mitigation, she can dish out a lot too. Building Sebastian early can help you a lot, he needs to be max level to best cancel debuffing, but for physical attackers, he adds a lot of critical which is very useful.

These are not the teams I used... I didn't start using Sebastian until campaign was finished, and Isaac even later. Jhu however... Is amazing for boss fights. You will find a lot of utility in having leveled up to at least Violet.

There are no universal team. Some heroes who are good against the bosses like Orion and Jhu can help you progress faster. Or Cornelius to kill these healers that can be anoying in some chapters

at the beginning you are starting with the first 5 heros

after that you will be get more heros throught the campaign, soul spin, events, hero of the month, etc

the normal team should be have a tank, a healer, a damage dealer and a supporter

if you get a pet, you will first use this pet. If you get Axel, that will be very good for the rest of campaign

after 2 or 3 chapters you will change a few heros in the main team

but for the 2 last chapters you need a strong team, sometimes with Martha, Faceless and Jhu

good luck and have fun in the campaign and in the rest of this nice game

Chapter 14 is a tough part of the campaign. You may find yourself building heroes you hadn't considered previously. I built Martha, faceless and Cornelius. I had been using Alvanor as tank, but many use Dante. Heidi might help you... It's tough. Who sre your heroes, how high?

about last chapters: everyone gets stuck there. they invented the last 2 chapters a long time after the other chapters. so they are desigend for higher powered up teams and not for teams who just made it beyond chapter 12.
me and many others believe campaign can be done by about every not completely bad team by just powering them up. i have been using martha, seb, neb, jhu, asta. had to upgrade levels, color progression, glyphs, gift of the element, skins, artifacts and eventually i could proceed.

there are youtube videos on how to beat seymour - I use Marth and faceless to copy her speed up skill when the two purple towers arrive, then you need attackers to kill both purple towers before they dissappear, if you do this, you don't get his attack from his elemental thing, ice swirl, rock smash, or fire lazer, so you're more likely to survive, and you can do damage to him while he has no armour, and you might also get a x10 bonus, but I'm not sure how, but yes, it's a marathon not a sprint, if you can't beat him, leave him for a month, keep levelling up everying else, and come back and try again. I still only win about 25% of the time.

Most of it is still relevant.

If you manage to beat 1 of 2 pillars, his ability will be greatly diminished. This is important for the first wave, if you can kill 1 pillar, his fire bean will do significantly less damage. This lets you set up to use Martha and faceless for speed boost. If you manage to kill both pillars, you will have Seymour's ability backfire. Big fire blast taking 10% health for fire, big heal for your heroes with Water and a stun and 10x damage with earth.

you dont need to level all of them. better concentrate on 1 team which is kind of versatile and stick to it. or this game will take forever. its totally normal that on the last two chapters of the campaign you are stuck. we all were. takes some time but you will finally get it done.

Yeah, I have been playing 4 years now, and I'm far from maxed out even though all my heros are 130, they still have Artifacts, Glyphs, Skills and much more to level up. Ugh it takes forever, lol

yeah and that is exactly what chapter 13 and 14 need.
they have been invented many months after people reached at that time max level 120 and are designed for heroes which have been seriously upgraded on Artifacts, Glyphs, Skills, Skins and all.
So chapter 14 and 15 are not meant to be the beginners path like chapter 1 - 13. and they cannot be done in a row as fast as the others.
it is not about the team selection, it is about developing the heroes seriuosly and not just level skills and maybe color.

so for chapter 14 + 15 my recommendation is: adapt your expectations. they come with time.

I agree, 14 and 15 take time and I personally have tried several different teams to find what works best for each fight along the way. One thing I have noticed in these harder fights is that you pick a team that has awesome specials and they never get to use them because the enemy keeps draining their energy, so the only help I seem to come up with to help with that was adding Arachne so she can stun the crap out of the enemy before they can get anything going, lol But again if she can't can't to the first full energy to get started it becomes useless.

Well I just tested a new team that seems to cover all the bases. It's kind of a Hybrid between my team and yours. Albus, Arachne, Orion, Cleaver, Martha and Seb. So far it's working good 🙂

Yea I did that at first but than Angus started doing lots of work even at a low level and Hyperion was op and I knew I needed both. As I only have the fire totem rn, fire is the main element I use. None of my Titans are really that flexible to move out. That I know of. Maybe I’m not seeing something but this team works. It works for quick KO’s. And survivablity

One has water, one has grass, the other (my main) has fire

I guess if you had any tips for me to build another titan what would it be? (It could be for a 4 +1 ST or a different titan that goes with my 3 + 2 ST) I just want to clear this stage so I can continue on the campaign.

For the last campaign chapters Jorgen is a very good choice too. His 3rd skill Leper redirects all physical damage done by the team to the last in line, the healer. As soon as he is dead there is more then enough time to kill the rest of the team 🙂

Hi. Does anyone know if campaign difficulty is based on team power? I've had some suspicions that that might be the case for quite some time, because it always seems to get harder when I upgrade heroes that are not in my campaign team.

However, sometimes if you make your heroes more powerful, that makes them lose health slower => gain energy slower => which might make it seem as though you are doing worse.

But don't worry about it too much. Continue leveling your heroes, eventually you will be able pass that stage in the campaign 🙂

But the thing is, the increased difficulty seems to kick in even when I upgrade only heroes that are not in my campaign team. It's weird, really. Maybe there's a marginal contribution there from overall team power. But you're right, no need to fret about it. I'm just curious.

Maybe you are still (indirectly) leveling your campaign team heroes somehow? E.g. improving pet patronage, Tree of Wisdom, etc.

In fact, if you still relatively early in the game, it seems kind of hard to believe that you wouldn't level your campaign heroes somehow over a longer period of time

You're probably right, I've seen how tiny differences can have a decisive effect sometimes. I'm at chapter 14 btw, got 24/42 stars, with team level 82. I'm keeping it deliberately low, accumulating resources before each new level
