In this Power Tournament, my highest scoring combinations were 345,000 for 1st place, 285,000 for 2nd place, and 46,000 for 10th place.
My Titans will all be maxed out soon, but even then they'll only increase by +150,000.
In other words, no matter how hard I try (paying money, spending emeralds, etc.), I couldn't achieve a ranking higher than 2nd place.
Conclusion: If I'm not in the winning combination, I would like to be notified in advance by email or other means.

Pet Top rewards playing Adventures in addition to upgrading pets - 4-chesting higher level Adventures obviously reward more points, and they will make Portal Charges available in quests and as a Pet Top purchase.

There shall be no cap on points earned from playing Adventures. If your pets are maxed, then you should be able to make up the difference by playing a few more Adventure 13s, which will be randomly selected each time it’s set up (not each guild day).

Yeah, +300k is probably a lot more common for this one because older players can level up Tidus, and that's about 200k alone (little bit more), and then there are the event quest rewards giving a little more. I suspect that totals to around 226k as I think my main competition were probably both almost-maxed (probably missing some fusion upgrades and maybe mechanical skins). If you manage to get some other upgrades in its a lot easier to get a high-score this TToP

To do round numbers days in a row, you'd have to do precise calculations. Normal is 3126, 6215, 9087, etc. 3000, 6000, 9000 is either no upgrades or a raving lunatic. Any way leader is now 112k. Me I don't think I can go over 200k.

Imo it's better to compete when you hoard enough resources. Then again if you plan well and you know exactly how you can score the most and what you need to upgrade, you can get the win in the last minutes.

Especially now with the brackets being larger and more impredictable.

Story : 2 months ago, I was sure to win with 380k. Then in the last hour a guy went up by 580k. You can never know at lower level groups who's the whale lurking in the shadows 😄

Well as a general advice, if winning the tournament is your main goal and it doesn't cost you too much, you should know that L/D titans crowns give a ton of points. And crowns give more than weapon artifacts. But it isn't a trick you can use very often.
Otherwise, levels are the post profitable on the titans with the most stars.
Obviously, main team should be the main focus, over anything else, tournament included. I'd even say that for f2p and budget spenders, dungeon titans come way before war titans if you can do that. Dungeon is (still, not for long I guess), the main source for precious resources that can bankroll your tournaments.

I rather don't do anything beyond the daily 3k (or 4k for heroes) and then barge in just before I go to bed the last day

If the others have to much, I just ignore the ToP completely, and save my resources for the next one

@split rapids this event ends when in europe it's night. this is a clear disvantage, because in the last minutes many players increment their power, while we europeans are sleeping. could we have a rotation of end time between europe, asia and america? One month the event ends at 19 europe time, the next month 19 NewYork time and so on..

Maybe learn from other games? Genshin for example has 3 'zones', you can play EU, AS, America, just like suggested above.
Servers belong to a zone, and the reset is based off timing of that zone.
That way, players can choose the zone that suits them. (by choosing servers).
There's new servers every 3 days .. so comes out to about one new server for each zone every 9 days .. which is still good enough for someone who just joined to be competitive.

Some evolves, grab all rewards and star some artifacts and you get there.

It will be painful but you gotta hoard. The only real risk is that the event is just taken out entirely. Hoard for 2-3 months everytime you go for it, make it impossible to lose and comfortable to snipe 1st spot. oddly it makes you spend less.

It's been a long time since I've made an alt account (longer since that I started) you can move up 300 places with a given attack at those positions, which means 4 attacks can take you from outside the top 2000 players on the server into the top 1000, I would be very hard-pressed to believe that was unfeasible

If you can get 2 or more of your own accounts into the same group you eliminate potential competition. The strategy to win is still to wait for the final 30 mins or so of the tournament and spend a ton of resources then, hoping other players don't/can't react fast enough.
