Hi , I cant seem to win a 1v1 against sett as shen in baron , I have played many games against sett and every time im playing shen im straight up getting dog walked , is there something im missing or dose sett just counter shen?

You arnt ever gonna really beat him 1v1 unless hes really bad. You get ahead with insane ults and much better map pressure

you win hard after first item, just build like sunderer first item. Only thing you have to be careful of is try to prolong the battle and wait out his stored dmg

at lvl 1-4, you also slightly win against him

lvl 5 and onwards, you would probably lose until you have your first item

but then again, Shen is shit toplane, Jg Shen is stronger by 300%, verified by me

You’re generally never supposed to win 1v1 with shen against sett unless he’s dumb

Plus playing shen isn’t meant to win lane it’s meant to help your duo or trio to win lane harder.

he doesnt even need to do any long trades against you, he just slowly chunks you down

its also a lane agnostic matchup, because sett can also just go tp and match your R

after that he just nullifies your engages

you can really only hope your team plays better with you than sett's team can play better with him
