How to start in competitive wr

Hey so i wanted to start in the competitive wild rift community but idk how since idk much about the community any advice?

Step 1: learn chinese
Step 2:move to China
Step 3: dominate the server and hope you get scouted
Step 4: take it from there

The top players / content creators often host pre-made 5v5 draft pick matches tournament mode

You play spam ranked until you eventually climb in your sever stats etc don't matter in amateur or semi-pro environment it's not going to be huge prize pools even with top North America events only a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars (better to get a job at McDonald's)

After all that you rank top 100 minimum amateur.

Then top 50

Then top 10

Then rank 1 spam games etc

Figure out how to get into the pro / top player servers / guilds with all the best players and they host events competitively tournament draft mode. Ask them for invites etc they'll group you into their matches

Don't go to China, you won't be able to afford cost of living without major sponsorship + random side gigs like coaching or doing some form of riot games activations for their Chinese events (their collabs etc pay well for top content creators hosting community events they'll fly you out places etc.)

But you don't move to China.

China is not the place you want to try wild rift competitive. Not enough pro coaches who are going to teach you full-time and you'll never afford them with expenses etc for events (you gotta physically go to activations sometimes)

Idk I’m in all of these servers and from what I have seen nobody gives a shit if you are top 100 top 50 etc. you just post your champ pool and stats on the dc hope you get accepted into a team and then go forward with that

Should at least be sov and legend to have any chance to get into a decent team

Even though they don’t tell you if you are good ,they definitely exclude you from being good if you didn’t reach them

Global players -> Use servers (Chinese social networks like WeChat etc. all the top players with their chats)

Not Discord App servers.

Contact with Chinese pro players usually happens when they use WeChat etc.

Don’t depend on them using VPN that’s not gonna work well for communication.

I have students & coaches in China that I work with currently.
