How to counter pick as jg?

How do I know who to use I've hit GM but icl I js play pantheon non stop whenever I vs a lilia or a ramus I get cooked what do I do

Lillia you just have to pray your mid lane roams to early fights to shut her down. Even then she still outscales, that’s kind of her gimmick though. Rammus is just well you know Rammus… I don’t really play jungle but I think morg is decent into him.

Lilia gets shut down by lockdown and most ap champs shut down rammus

Gwen and Morgana can demolish rammus

Lillia is more like a race against the clock but characters with alot of lockdown like vi can deal with her

But the thing with Jungle is that counterpicks don't matter as much

Unlike lanes you can ignore the enemy jungler most of the game and never really fight them

So even if its a horrible matchup like kindred into lee sin. The kindred can still have an impact and has options unlike a bad matchup in mid or top lane.

I used to be a Rammus main. I'd play him in pretty much all circumstances, and if I can tell you one thing, it's that his biggest counters are Gwen and Mordekaiser. Mordekaiser just stat checks you to death, and Gwen does so much true damage and magic damage that you pop like a balloon.

I've tried Gwen but I find her so hard to use lol

She's the polar opposite of Pantheon

And ap jungles tend to farm so slow

Its just i think picking certain junglers for instance pantheon against rammus just makes it really difficult to have a overall impact sometimes

Heck, LILIA SOLVES RAMMUS

Also, against lilia, just play mobile champs like assasins or lee

I mained lilia last season and playing against a good khazix is impossible to win

I think the 3 essential junglers in my opinion is

1. Amumu
2. Lilia
3. Pantheon

Wanna add viego but he's banned all the time

If ur a jgler. Ur supposed to first pick, there isnt counter pick tbh. Just play for team and ur jg and will work even if " bad ' matchup appears. If ur uncertain u can fight enemy jg think of abandoming a scuttle and going for other scuttle for lvl 5 and dont gank same lanes as them but rather opposite. Thats best advice i think possible

Or if ur certain of besting them . Try to contest their every move, scuttle , gank even their jg if your laners have priority . As pushing enemy jg down doesnt just put the jgler down but also their team on that side. As now ur in their territory and can turn to enemy lane and gank from behind even if there is vision

ur jg. its ur adcs part to deal with tanks. if ur jg tank then u tank. if ur brusier u deal with enemy backline if ur assasin again backline

tanks arent ur job

it doesnt mean u shouldnt attack tanks. just that they shouldnt be ur priority target. bascially ever

exceptions like darius, aatrox, urgot and stuff like that. but even those arent suppposed to be ur job
