I had a game where i went into a kayle mid (i was playi g ahri), i took runes to dom lane and punish her.
In lane i took advantage of range diff and by by ending of laning phase she was around 4k lower than me (lowk still proud)

Kayle then went side laning to hyper farm and usually I'd match her to deny her any chance of farm or gold.

Only prob was my team was not much ahead as me and i was the only fed one, they kept fighting and i felt i had to be there or they'll lose (i kept pinging anyone else to match kayle but no one did obv)

So my question is in those games where you're the carry and there's a hyperfarming champ late is it better to match them and shut them down permanently from the game or play around your team? (The game was around master/gm elo)

Spread your lead

go teamfight and tell someone to match her if none do ggs

Normally you push side lane wave hard and then do the teamfights so that when kayle is before your tower you are already done with teamfights and can prolly even kill her again

If your team does shitty fights in the time you push it’s unlucky

Kayle especially is only a good champ here cause in solo Que players are so uncoordinated and most are apes so kayle easily gets to late game

I'd like to add that it also applies to laning phase

Clear minions => gank side lanes/help jng => make the kayle even more behind

Spreading your lead happens mostly in laning phase as a midlaner

If you were the kayle/kass, your priorities would be farm => harass enemy laner => farm more

You can't end the game early because the game is designed to delay you from doing that

Kayle win rate is high because regardless of how ahead you are there's a lot of mechanics in place that stops the enemy team from ending the game.

As ahri your goal wouldn't be to match kayle it would be shove the lane and gank side lanes multiple times ideally bot lane.

You basically want to make sure your jungle or bot is ahead so that you can get dragon soul or reach the point where the enemy team is forced to fight for 2nd dragon then used the team fight win from 2nd dragon to get baron

Ahri unless extremely fed can never carry as hard as other hyper carry mid laners.
