Well theres no character that works in every lane so your gonna have to pick one or two
For Jungle amumu,vi, and nunu are easy to understand and you will always be useful
Supp anyone is always useful as long as its not a mage
(Don't be that person that picks mage supp. Your adc will appreciate it)

ignore his comment about adc appreciating no mages(its true but as you only starting and want to have fun with brother i dont think you want to try have deeper understanding right now) use whoever you want JUST BE CAREFUL WITH DIFFICULTY LVL in champion page its real thing dont go for 3 bars from the start
Jngl is amumu, warwick pretty straightforward but needs a bit understanding, nunu as said can be easy but you will be confused with his ball in begining

Gm locking in 4 ap champs in one team definitely dont concern themselves

If he plays top, you could pick a champ that synergises with his champ pool and always camp his lane.. Like if he plays ad, you take ap, and vice versa.. If he takes cc and gank setup,you take pure damage, and vice versa.. If he takes hyperscaler, you take earlygame champ and help him snowball, etc
