if ur doing electro rakan don't build tank

typically you'll want mandate and a bunch of other ap items that give ability haste

crown, etc etc

but personally I enjoy the tanky playstyle with glacial augment, green runes + ingenious hunter with protectors vow and redemption

Honestly idk how to use him properly, he isn't a healer , and his shield must be timed, I saw some people who does give him lotta health and tease u with his stun but they take too much health with that (yes am aware it's also the ultimate) but hell I tried so many builds and can't yet

he's an engage support w enchanter elements

he's kind of in his own class

but you mostly play him as a main engage

you stand from behind and do surprise engage angles with E and stuff

Dont go trinity force on riven, sundered sky or eclipse is great. Even spear of dhojin is better than trinity force on riven

is that for blue kayn. Build is fine theres situational items i hope u dont build samr every game.For runes Cheap shot is worthless cuz u don't have cc .And u should go giant slayer or a tank rune last cuz coup de grace and other dmg rune is completly worthless

as a rakan main, I also love the redemption+vow build with items like zekes to follow up, you wanna use him to engage with the second ability and ult, then dash out and block/heal damage going to your carries

generally i use redemption, vow, zekes, and maybe amaranth, but you can use a wide variety of defensive items

whatever you need to help your team or counter the enemies

Rakan is so versatile you can play him with almost any playstyle that suits you

Basic tank is the redemption+vow+zekes build mentioned above

Plenty of ability haste and allows you to jump back and forth between ur team and ur enemies often while healing and shielding a lot

You can play him as an ap oneshot assassin with electrocute and full ap with ludens/infinity orb OR supportive ap like imperial mandate for a cheaper buildpath

Some ppl play him full frontline tank with heartsteel

I love rakan!! Omg

When playing him be mindful of your E charge count and make sure you have an escape route after engaging

Your W and ult are also able to be interrupted so avoid being cc’d when engaging

I play him a shit ton and I have multiple builds

I usually use the first one when playing with my xayah

I can rely on her to be the damage dealer while I just have to boost her output with mandate and zekes
