I’m an Akali main but I wanna learn Irelia so I have another option while playing ranked. I’ve been watching YouTube vids on her and tried playing her in duels and pvp but I just get stomped before I can even get my stacks. Any advice so I can get better with her?

Best advice is just to play- you need to feel the champ, when you can engage, and when not. Dont try to do crazy 1v9 pentakill hard stomp, just try to survive- first think how to not die, then how to kill

One of the best irelia mains I’ve seen the most is they utilize her 2nd skill in which a lot of common mistakes among regular users is they dont do 2nd skill correctly

Such that you dont release the 2nd skill right away and/or use it to gain more stacks, look for timing when you feel like your enemy laner would land a heavy burst combo and thats the time you’ll do 2nd skill

So how irelia works for most of the game is she is wave based. Without a wave she is weak

You need to know how to use waves to make her strong

Use it for the defense and damage

It also plays times for ur cds to vome back

An easy combo is e + q into low hp minion + e (into champ) q (champ) auto r q auto hold Ur w into they start trying to dodge it, q again

This combo gers all 4 stacks

Irelia's second skill soaks up some damage which is very good for blocking combo damage, also when your enemy is about to stun you, you can use your second skill and block a good amount of damage and then counter strike
