help on Nilah

I've been trying to learn Nilah in the dragon lane but it's been kind of hard so far. I think this might be me but the results of the match are always a coinflip either I do okay in lane but end up carrying late game because of how well she scales or I get absolutely bullied in lane and end up being useless late game. I've also found it very difficult to lane with a melee support because then we can't poke easily and we just get put under tower and then die during towerdives. Does anyone have any advice on how I could improve during the laning face or any tips for playing Nilah in general?

you need to know your support for playing her. A dedicated healer can help her safely farm and just ignore the results of poke (boring laning phase until a jungler arrives). But a lux or seraphine or zyra support with some ranged poke and really dangerous counter engage can help win lane by taking any overly aggressive enemy pokes and turning them into a trade in your favor. With dash you can sometimes even turn a trade into a real fight if needed

yeah thats what I used to go but I've found it really hard to actually make use of it so now I go conqueror instead

ive seen some builds that use grasp but have never tried it so idk which is better
