Is Varus mid lane considered good or off-meta.

I've recently played Varus in the mid lane and i've done pretty well with him there. I want to ask if Varus is actually a good pick there or if he is rather niche there.

does it only work on lower elos since some players dont really respect the damage early varus can do with his autos and abilities

In low elo it should work almost every time unless u are vs a Smurf or otp I think

But imo it depends more on matchup than elo

Um sorry but I don't remember exactly but imo its not that amazing vs high mobility champs like yas Akali

i think varus can only kill them in the early game to snowball if those players arent that good

Imo ap could be better vs tanky teams or assassins and ad vs mages/ less tanky teams

i should probably try it out first before i make any more judgement
