Quit league if you think it isn't good for your mental health.

The best advice for league players is to stop playing. It's sad that it's an actual good advice

But what if you love playing it? See, I’m a really analytical person (maybe bc of my autism?) and I like to think on the fly, and League has allowed me to exercise that aspect of my personality. I love to get my analytical portion of my mind in gear and the most fun way for me to do so is through learning as much as I can about League, how it works, and what champions and items are making waves in any given meta or patch. So… what then?

Once u get too competitive u get toxic, take it easy, improvements also happen over breaks as u calm down and let go of unhealthy gameplay habits

#

Such as being too stubborn on dueling or not roaming enough etc, once u take weekly/monthly breaks, u sorta form a new better style, at least in my experience

That might be a good idea for me also, I tend to get burnt out as opposed to being toxic. I almost always use my down time to analyze what I do that might need improvement and then shift my focus to how I might improve whatever areas I struggle with. For example, lately I’ve been struggling with finding picks onto enemy champs as I always tend to poke them down low enough to get a kill, but I hardly ever find myself finishing them off because my reaction time is slower than I want it to be. So I’m currently looking for ways to heighten my game sense and improve my reaction time quickly but efficiently. Due to my autism(?), I pick up champions and figure out strategies, builds, and combos for them faster than the average player; this is probably thanks to the fact that I watch pro players and guides for a certain champion as often as I can because I genuinely want to learn how to play them. I essentially consider myself a student of the game as well as a player.

Anything that has a competitive edge is not good for your mental health because you’re always trying to achieve a certain badge in that field or game.
