I've finally completed my avatar pack based on the Chinese zodiac. I saved the best one for last - the Dragon. It's got VR arms too, not visible in this GIF.

(scroll down to see a screenshot of the whole avatar set)

All avatars are fully rigged for voice-based face animations with blinking eyes and moving mouths. Some of them have animated tails and appendages too. All of them are performance-friendly and under 10k triangles (most are actually around 5k; the Dragon is the only one closer to 10k. It's got some extra details)

These avatars will be available to everyone under the CC-BY 3.0 license, as part of my work in the Hubs Artist in Residence program.
The community is welcome to customize these, change their colors around, and add things to them. Enjoy!

These look very cool. Well done! My students will love them - especially the Chinese students I expect! How do we get hold of them?

Over half of them should already be in the official Hubs avatar gallery. The rest still need approval

I'm not exactly sure how to download them through the gallery but I think the option is supposed to be there somewhere?? Since I enabled "Remixing" on them. @small path
I can upload the GLB files somewhere if needed

Hi there @hardy basin . I can't see any of them in the gallery anywhere for the free Hubs or even in a pack for the subscription service. Once on the gallery it's quite easy to download and to provide a link in your room too. @small path any idea where these avatars are?

Someone from the Hubs team just needs to promote them in our system. I would’ve done it today but I’m without internet until tomorrow afternoon. I’ll let you know when they’re available to all.

Or if maybe @quick matrix has admin access, he might be able to get to it before I do.

Okay sorry for the delay. So... I was able to get in and approve Dragon, Pig, Ox, Horse, Goat, Snake and Rooster. I do not see the others tho...

Yeah seems Dragon was the only one missing its attribution field. If you want to re-submit I can approve the new one and I think remove the old one

Might have been nice if the names were all something like "Zodiac - Pig", "Zodiac - Dragon", etc, so they were easier to find in the search
