#Game Crashes when trying to access settings

I recently got the game, but I ran into an issue: it won't start at full screen and if I go to settings the entire game crashes. I did not have this issues playing the demo. I can start the game, but trying to access the a menu by pressing escape will also cause the game to immediately crash. I really don't know how to fix this on my end

could you try verifying your game files on steam?

  2. Right-click on your game
  3. Select Properties from the menu
  4. In the Properties menu, select 'Local Files' from the left-hand panel
  5. On the Local Files page, select 'Verify integrity of game files'

Yes I tried doing that and I even tried reinstalling the game

I removed the demo to make room and right now Steam is not letting me redownload it. Maybe because I already own the game

I’m just not sure how to help you because I don’t remember any report like this. Did you change anything on your settings before the crashes started happening?

I didn't get to go to settings sadly, since right now it keeps crashing. I can force it into full screen by using alt enter, but it still won't let me enter settings

do you know how to find your save file?

so that you could backup your settings file and try deleting the one in your folder

because it’s highly likely that resetting your settings will fix this

Inside that folder there will be another folder with numbers, that's your steam user id
