Dear Friends, first time I add a Post.
I have two unsupported Macs, and I used OpenCore Legacy patcher to upgrade o MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 .
One MacBook Air 11" 6,1 Mid 2013 with BT 4.0, it works perfect everything.
The second MacBook Pro 15" 6.2 Mod. 2010 BT 2.1, with SSD HardDrive not original , It works almost everything well, but I experience the next issues:
Bluetooth seems disable but my mice is working without dongle, I can not turning on BT and I can not see the list of devices, even the mice that is working. I thought to buy a Sonnet Dongle BT 4.0 but I need to disable the main BT, but I don't know how is going to be with the openCore patchers.
Going to the issue, due to this I can not run the migration assistance, it keeps hanging trying to find the internet. So I did the backup manually from Time machine.
But now, I try to apply the last MacOs security Update 13.4.1 (c) and I have similar issue, I says that there is not internet connection, but there is! I can not apply this update. I tried with the OpenCore 0.6.8 patches, but It doesn't work either.
Anyone have any idea how to solve it? I can not find the 13.4.1 (c) package in internet.
I also tried with the Terminal command software update, it did the same.
This post is also to report the issue for the Open Core developers in case they didn't have this feedback.
Thanks in advance.

Replace BluetoolFixup.kext in your Open Core EFI (OC/Kexts) with version 2.6.8 from Dortania nightly builds. BluetoolFixup.kext is in the BrcmPatchRAM package. https://dortania.github.io/builds/?product=BrcmPatchRAM&viewall=true

Thanks for your quick reply deeveedee! I have some kind of macOS knowledge, for not so deep as I wanted, I used Linux 20 years ago... so I am a bit oxidated. I don´t understand really well how to replace BluetoolFixup.kext. Do you mean following these steps : https://github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM/blob/master/README-Mac.md

I don´t know really well how to change it in the Open Core EFI. Do you know if this is going to be added in the next Open Core Legacy Patcher release? I could wait until then. I have Just read that the Rapid Secure Responses (RSR) are not possible to install in Mac´s before 2012/2013. So I guess I could update the 13.5.0 Version when is available, at least I hope so, if not I will go back to High Sierra... 😦

I would think that BluetoolFixup.kext would be updated in the next release of OCLP.

I have updated OCLP 0.6.8 on MBP 6,2 and updated the macOS to 13.5, it went all fine, but Bluetooth keeps doing the same as I mentioned previously. Just reporting this issue for the developers of future OCLP updates.

I'm seeing the same on a 6,1 MBP. Bluetooth doesn't get turned on.

I hope will be solved in future OCLP updates. Meanwhile, maybe the only option I see it is to buy the Dongle from Sonnet BT4.0 and disable the internal BT2.0. But I am not sure if this is going to work with the OCLP installed, due to the patches.
This USB dongle is a bit expensive, at the moment I am not going to try it. But if someone tries, please let us know.
