I’m trying to create a good model of my animation class to rig on Adobe an animate, and initially, I was happy with my turnarounds that I did earlier since I thought that would be good for rigging, but someone in a different server who is a professional concept artist said that the silhouette is hard to read and I end up having to redo it, but it end up frustrating me more than anything to the point that with the rig that they end up, approving it end up coming across so stiff and I just hate looking at it and I was just wondering if anyone got a suggestion on how I can make a better rigging pose that doesn’t look looks stiff because I have a Friday class that I’m already behind on because of this and I’m just wanting to like redo this quickly so that I could actually move on from it. So for any designers or rigging people can you please step to add your insight for it because I’m frustrated with the current version that I got

my only advice i can give you on this is try and not have everything so one lined. select the outline of the artwork, fill it with a solid colour from there. maybe spread out the dreads, have the bangs sort of come in at different sizes, maybe edit the bun to be more readable as a bun, play around with flaring the jacket more i.e. give it a big collar or give it straps or separate your beltline from jacket line by making jacket shorter or longer and finally maybe work on the shoes to be uniquely identified, like by looking at your design, i can't tell if they're slippers, sneakers, boots, etc...
try and more define the footwear, if it has laces, has big sole, if its a slipper, show a bit of the middle part, if its a boot then widen the back heel....
i think it's a terrific design and the character is really unique, it's just that when you pitch something like this (for example in a uni scenario, like what happened with me), they'll look at the silhouette and judge if your character would be recognisable amongst characters in your film/show/other characters that exist.
Hope this helps <3 and hope it's not too harsh, i'm not trying to be. this is just what i learned from uni
