I use to play AC such a long time ago, now I feel like it’s taking me forever to get to a 3 star rating compared to back then (8 years ago). Any tips? You just have to keep talking to Isabelle and seeing what she wants. She will tell you exactly what your island needs.

I actually have "too many trees" according to Isabelle. I'll forever be at four stars because I like my trees more than her AI. I got to five just to get the achievement and then I went right back to having a forest. Haha
I always encourage people to play this game however they want.

When you find a glowing spot on the ground you can dig it up and you get 1,000 bells, but you can bury that again and get bell bags on your trees. The more bells you bury, the more risky it is.

Absolutely, you just already get 1k bells when you dig it up. You can put up to 99k I think, but it's risky

If you bury 1000 you are guaranteed to get 3 bags of 1000 back. If you bury 10,000 you are guaranteed to get 3 bags of 10,000 back. Thats the best risk free option. Anything between 1,000 and 10,000 or higher than 10,000 there's only a chance you'll get 3 bags of the amount you buried or you'll just get 3 bags of 10,000.

Oh maybe you need to bury it in a hole thats glowing? There's only one on your island per day. You can see a glowing spot and you dig it up you get 1000 bells and then in that hole you can bury your money and it will turn into a tree
