Each island is randomly generated. It’ll have one starting fruit, one starting type of flower, one of the four airport colours, and there’s a few different layouts you can get to start.

well, it does effect your game a little. it menas you have to visit other players island to collect the different types of fruit

Use a flimsy axe instead

It gives you wood but doesn't cut your trees

And you'll need to break 100 axes to get the golden axe so bulk crafting flimsy axes will get you there faster
