In case you aren’t aware, when someone leaves not through the airport, it forces everyone else from whatever they were doing and puts them outside the airport. It’s incredibly disruptive and is very rude.

Technically, it’s one and the same. If you leave through the airport, it will continue to give the warning for people to close what they are doing.

If you use the minus button, it starts a countdown. So, it can be a leave quietly. Just leave through the airport to be considerate and always close out of what you are doing asap to also be considerate

Correct. But with the airport it will keep trying until it is successful and will never cause a leave quietly. Hitting the minus button will brute force it by starting a countdown. So if someone isn’t able to clear their dialogue menu or whatever or they just refuse to, it will reset everyone to the last save of when someone arrived or left
