:warning: PSA: Beware Your Island Getting "Hacked" :warning:

It has come to our attention that there is a security exploit that allows malicious players to "hack" your island and make your player spam offensive slurs/hate speech, overwrite your bulletin board with NSFW content, mess with your island, and more.

Precautions You Can Take:

• DON'T share your Dodo codes publicly!
• Allow only 1 person on your island at a time to easily keep track of what they are doing.
• (Note whether there are any "weird" behaviors such as glitching through the ground, rapidly changing clothes, etc.)
• Take note of who's on your island so you can report them to @earnest folio if necessary.
• (Take note of player names, island names, Switch profiles, and Discord usernames whenever you play with someone!)
• If you get hacked, DO NOT SAVE your game; close out immediately!!

I try to keep mine down to 1-2 because sometimes people steal flowers or fruit and I have trust issues now 😩
