So, i used a program on my animal crossing city folk save called "NPC tool", that i only changed the name and the texture of my villagers, to you know, make custom NPCs.
But the problem is, i want to invite a friend of mine into my island, and i'm not so sure if the textures i made will work.
does anyone know?

They won't work because when the game tells them what villagers are in and what to load it'll see the id go to the folder and load the textures that are there. To have the same effect they'd need to replicate the same things you did to get the same custom villager.

Animal crossing amiibo figures, cards series 1-4, welcome amiibo cards, and sanrio cards are all compatible with new leaf. Series 5 is only compatible with new horizons because those characters aren't in new leaf. There are also some amiibo figures from other series (like zelda) that work in new leaf too!

You can see a green circle around Marshals eyes

They did the same for pink villager

Which makes it look like she has an iris but nothin else
