Basements arent always messy and gross. Sometimes theyre storage units, sometimes theyre just extra living spaces. You might find a washing machine or a dryer and some clothing racks down there, but thats just because there isnt much space elsewhere.

Basements just allow for extra room, basically. And people like to do with that room what they want. Some people dont use it, and other people use it more than the rest of the entire house.

They do look like mostly the same color yes 😊 If you have any shelves, bookcases or floor plants I'd recommend adding them along the walls as it help "pad" out the place. Little details like something on the stove and the table will help it feel more "homey" as well 🙂

-add more furniture on the centre of the main room. maybe some black or white sofas (3 around a 1x2 coffee table). add accessories to the table

-i'd add some texture to the simple panel in the bathroom. break te symetry of the back wall, and make sure you don't have those 1/2 spaces in between the sinks and closets. increase height of the lamps above the sinks. they're way too low. maybe add some black rattan furniture?

That's a partition wall. You can only get it when you purchased the Happy Home Paradise dlc.

After some research, I think I found out what they used. The glow in the dark wall stickers can use your own designs. If they used these, they most likely found individual window panels and put them to their liking? I’m 70% sure the windows aren’t an actual wallpaper so this is what I’m guessing
