@remote barn Imo, there is too much going on in the music room in terms of Colors, it’s kinda empty and floor/wall don’t go well together.
If you’re going for a night party neon thingy, go for it and don’t got halfway x)
For the blue sea bedroom, the imperial electric blue furnitures are too harsh compared to the wall/floor, I would advise you to maybe go for the mermaid furnitures or some pastel-sea furnitures

@rancid lance i think using purples, blacks and blues, alongside with shell furniture might work. just refer to Rhonda's house. All shell furniture pieces can be customized to purple as well.
and this is a goth variation of a room I did earlier on, which could work for a witch's home

Help this is the only room in my house that is like this i have a beautiful relaxing bath a fun old rock kitchen a cozy bedroom and a perfect gaming basement but i just have no clue how to make my living room loon nice (probubly because i never use my real life living room but still this is the first room you see and it makes me sad)

@muted hearth you can try dividing it to smaller areas! for example you can place sofas and a tv somewhere in the front and do a study area in the back with bookcases, desks, a fireplace (so its cozy) etc

So a couple weeks back I created a secondary account/house for my island to serve as not only extra space but also a sort of hot springs cabin where residents could hang out and chill. There are several areas to Sanrei Onsen (as I'm calling the place), including the onsen proper, a diner/bar/lounge, and a rec room (which is still a WIP).
I'd love to hear any feedback on what I have so far, especially any recommendations on furniture and whatnot to make it more complete. Personally, I'm thinking about getting another arcade cabinet for the rec room--as well as looking for some more blue/white furniture to complement the color theme I'm aiming for--but feel free to make any other suggestions!

I think the interior Onsen and Rec room sell me the theme (I know immediately what they are) so no critiques there.
The laundry/maintenance room could use more "maintenance" related items like a toolbox and tool pegboard. Maybe even stuff like an upright vacuum?

For the bar/lounge the left side looks half done compared to the right. Maybe move the coffee cup and a small centerpiece to the table to give a little more negative space on the counter top. Also maybe try moving the service station to the left side where the skull radio is and moving the skull to behind the counter. Thinking of every American diner in tv ever where the tv/radio is behind the counter.
The tea set and cup might go well in the table, like someone had just been served.
The Lobby is the only room that lacks a central theme for me. I get the feeling it would either benefit from a minimalist approach or go all in on covering ever inch of the walls in something interesting.
All the other rooms are more minimalist when it comes to wall decor but maybe the lobby needs to stand out and be the opposite?

Looking at the managers area again I see the candle and on the wall and I think that soft light suits it well. Maybe just more of it around to room to highlight what's in it vs the iron lamps which I think may be too bright. Overall I'm digging the whole house theme and it's very close to perfection!

@outer ledge hahaha not at all! I’d def recommend looking for aprons. There’s probably more girlish ones but I would def look around! I would say maybe a darker colored one to go with the flooring. I’m not too well known to a bunch of floorings and wallpapers, but if you go on nookazon and search “wall” you can see the different wallpapers and maybe find something that’ll fit well with the flooring youre using!

@crisp silo I don't think it's possible to put them together so they look like a functional bookcase, but there's some in-game bookcase items you can use if that's what you want
Additionally, I've seen some ppl make a bookcase custom design that only uses one panel, so you could try to look for one in one of the custom design channels if you want

So I've turned my house on my rural tropical island into the main police dept./morgue. The basement has become the morgue/medical examiners office. I'm maxed out currently on custom patterns otherwise I'd include x-rays and anatomy posters on the walls. Any critiques or suggestions are welcome to give it more of a working environment feel to it (going to use the TV tray for the M.E.'s lunchtime.)
