Are you trying to leave the island first?… wait wait. 1: are you duping with another person? 2: are you the host or the duper? 3: you gotta act like you’re leaving the island. You’ll walk through the gates and then a save will pop up. Hit the power button right on the 3rd turn 12’o clock . The host will get a weird error, that’s because what you just did crashed their game. Don’t turn your switch back on till the host says they’re back.

Yes, wait for them to load back in and then you can wake your switch up. If you turn your switch back on too early it might interfere with the save progress on the host island

To be extra safe, make sure the host doesn’t have an OP island. My husband just created an island and I’m using him as host cause it does crash the host’s game. So just in case ya know?

Yes, nothing will happen to your island cause you’re just leaving it and putting your switch to sleep. The host island is the one at “risk”

If you’re scared of stuff disappearing, I suggest going slow. Don’t dupe all your items at once

The audacity! So far I’ve only messed up once and everything was still fine, I just didn’t have it in my inventory so I had to go back to his island, grab everything, then start over again

I suggest duping crowns or gold nuggets. They sell for ALOT and it’s easier than just duping bells

Take it slow. Dupe the nuggets . Every 2 dupes go pick everything up and start over again. You’ll make great bank . Yes go sell to the twins

Drop a stack (do the glitch) drop another stack (do the glitch) then go pick everything up. Save. Then start over. Drop a couple stacks (dupe) repeat

I don't think the existing dupe is faster than any of the older dupes, but so many items have been added since 1.1 that you won't get to dupe any of the fun stuff. Suppose you can still dupe bells and NMTs though

Set windows to DONT USE--Hang any decoration where the window is--Set windows to USE--items are then automatically sent to your storage

You can dupe royal crowns, real art, gyroid, anything that goes on a wall this way.

NEW ITEM DUPE GLITCH- Needs online subscription tho.

Go to a friend's island and drop the item that you want duplicated on the ground, then go to the airport and ask to leave, when it's on a blank screen, wait for the saving loading circle to spin 3 times, on the third spin press the power button on your switch, when you come back into the game it will say it's crashed but you will have you items in your inventory still and the person on the other island will have the items. This is super overpowered, especially if you use royal crowns

well first you have to wait until they're in their house, take a fence and put it outside their house so they can leave, then leave them for 15 days (you can time travel if u dont wanna wait) if u decide not to time travel, do not speak to them, after the 15 days, a bubble should pop up over their heads and then u just suggest they should move out

Putting a fence outside their house, hitting them with a net, reporting them to Isabelle, doesn't make a villager want to move out, it's entirely up to RNG and the friendship points you have with a villager,

just tried out the sketch room dupe and it is POWERFUL

you can dupe 8 gold crowns at a time, about 10 seconds per dupe

and you don't need any more then one crown to start duping!

NEW ITEM DUPE GLITCH- Needs online subscription tho.

Go to a friend's island and drop the item that you want duplicated on the ground, then go to the airport and ask to leave, when it's on a blank screen, wait for the saving loading circle to spin 3 times, on the third spin press the power button on your switch, when you come back into the game it will say it's crashed but you will have you items in your inventory still and the person on the other island will have the items. This is super overpowered, especially if you use royal crowns (the game geek typed this, not me)

Also if you sell turnips in a hacker's town to receive negative bells, you need to make up the difference since the game keeps track of the net loss.

GO on twitch (dont need to sign in ) and look up Animal crossing and click the game and try to find a treasure island with turnips and sell them to timmy and tommy it should say something about -67 mil bells or something but thats a good sign showing that the hack is working and you will get max bells on your ABD

The photos in the context of the glitch actually worked. If you have unlocked them in your HHP catalog, the Room Sketch oversight allows you to copy them to your storage.

You could copy items you don't have yet in your main catalog from the HHP one. It's more important for items that can't be bought from Wardell (certain DIY items, certain event items, photos; basically as long as it's an item that can be hung on the wall).

So... I was looking through the pins and couldn't found the glitch I just created, probably because it's so oddly specific. But lmk if it's a known glitch and I just missed it:

The third day of crafting the DIY for my amiibo campsite villager (Sasha) coincided with a villager being in boxes. I decided to invite the amiibo villager thinking it'd be ok and that it would ask me to kick out someone else but, instead, they said they'd be moving in. I thought it was odd but didn't think much of it. Fast forward to the next day, the plot is available and unsold. But when I attempt to reinvite the same amiibo in it says they're in the process of moving... So I decided to invite a different amiibo thinking that would fix it. They (amiibo nº2) move in. So my island is now full again.

Today I attempted to reinvite the same amiibo and I'm still getting the same "moving" message. So, I'm guessing I just made it impossible for me to get Sasha on my island.

Sasha got put into your MIQ (so basically if you let a plot autofill, there's a 1/4 chance he'll be the one to fill it). This is a known glitch, but it doesn't happen too often and is slightly difficult to describe so it's not listed anywhere. He isn't gone forever though, you just need to let a plot autofill.

We can talk about it. And as far as items to dupe in any way that's the best for bells, it's almost always going to be the royal crown.

I still have crowns from my duping back in 1.2.0, and managed to add a few more with the sketch room dupe as well, lol.
Although I updated fairly soon after duping a bunch of photos and clothes I didn't have cataloged. Don't have much need for bells, and I didn't feel like grinding home designs to try and unlock more items to use the glitch with.

The correct way to remove a resident is via the menu with Tom Nook at the main menu.

i personally put my console in sleep mode after a single circle (the saving thing)

tho in videos that explains how to do it, they tells you to to it after 2 or 3 circles

Do you mean the switch itself or from game options? If you delete it in the switch itself, the game will still keep the other house because it hasnt been removed from the island.

When on the main menu of the game, hit the "-" button and itll take you to options. Tom nook will provide you with some options about the game and houses to delete (excluding the island rep player)

No, you can only get it with 5-stars, so you either had a 5-star rating when Isabelle's announcements ran and it went down again later when you checked it, or someone who visited you planted one

So I guess I was messing up the timing and if you do it way too late you just lose the items completely. Since then I have been doing it once the circle goes around twice instead of 3 times and have had a like 95% success rate and haven't lost any items
