There a glitch where I'm not getting money tree spots anymore. This is the second day that there is NO money tree glow anywhere on my island. And I looked everywhere. especially around my orchard trees.
I also have two extra fossils than usual (6 instead of just four) but I don't know if that helps.

I think since the sumo rug is missing texture it's trying to load in the nearest texture it could find. maybe the save and exiting change the memory in someway. Also this time, I loaded into the game with the sumo ring floor already placed. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

The usual method of duping is by force shutting off the software. And as a reminder: closing any game or computer without it saving or finishing what its doing, can cause corruption files
that means minecraft, terriria, legend of zelda, any software can get corrupted by telling the game to stop what its doing without it finishing writing its data

Everyone has a hidden move-in queue that can store up to 4 villagers. If another person fails to get their villager adopted, it goes into their move-out queue. You can potentially pick up hitchhikers from the other player visiting you or you visiting them.
So even if you hadn't visited anyone recently, someone can still move in.

So nobody else has ever encountered the bug I had with the gift? Basically, one of my villagers tasked me to hand a blue gift box to another villager, but for some reason it was never in my inventory. It was super early so the shop wasnt open yet and i knew id end up spending some on it and on an incline im funding so i was collecting bugs and flowers to sell once the shop opened, it auto saved soon after that and then i saved it again before i shut off my switch. I'm not seeing a moving texture, the shaggy rug is actually 3D looking so it may be playing tricks with your eyes. it's got varying height (I think in the model? doesn't look like the normal map), it's more noticeable at the edges

If you go up towards the plaza in that scenario, it should pop it. You're too far away.
Though the way the pellet is clipping through and behind the balloon is pretty funky.
Since items can't be dropped on the plaza at all, they fly around until they reach the valid row above or below.
So the balloon is basically bordering the plaza and you're too far away in the vertical axis.
You also need to be hugging the plaza for the pellets to hit.

btw balloons that float near Resident Services will go around the 10x12 square and never through it. The first video I posted had a better visual of the pellet going through the balloon. THIS video was captured before it was close to Resident Services. It's strange because I popped a few balloons earlier today with no problems

System Settings -> Test Connection, then it shows which NAT Type you have, and certain ones are not very good for hosting.
I forget which is the bad one, but people can eventually join if they spam 50 times.
It's kinda luck-based.
But if they have a compatible type then they can join without issue.

The switch devices are notorious for having lack-worthy wifi adapters.

Okay, I'm having a bit of a break down here... Did something change with how Celeste spawns?
I TT'd back to the day she spawned, before the week reset, (I had a lot of good visitors also), and I can't find her at all. I even checked all other days in the week and scoured them with all 3 of my characters and can't find her anywhere.
Everyone keeps telling me she should always spawn on the same day in the week as long as it's still the same week, but this has rarely ever been the case for me.
I'm in 1.4.1, but I've had this issue before in other versions...
