personally I'd go with bottom right, if you're going to do a more nature-ish island then bottom right leaves a lot of space for cliffs/riverscaping for your entrance (and more) without resident services being in front of the entrance to limit it

I have a question about island designing: should i flatten my island? Should i only get rid of my rivers? Should i only get rid of the cliffs? Or should i just work with what i have i just need advice ive never really done this before

Depends if you have time to spend bc I flattened my island, it takes forever if u dont time travel but a clean template I find is good for my brain

It really just depends on what you wanna do and what your plans are. Yes flattening can take a long time but it's great to work with a blank canvas and you get to create your island to however you see fit. Working with what you got isn't bad and may be a nice challenge to work with only what you got. In my opinion flattening is more rewarding or gives more options but it's ultimately up to what you want to do

You can also flatten along the way bit by bit just in case an idea pops into your head or if you feel as though you can build on whats already terraformed

oh i think this is my time to shine here lol. I'd say a little stall with shovels on it, definitely orange or the yellow and black striped cones, statues against the area if you're doing cliffs, a lot of little fossil items, or even maybe try to bury random things (like flowers you picked or random things in storage) to get the little "smth is buried here" look

i read it online that trees give your island eval, but my left-most part of the island is packed full of fruit trees which left me without a whole lot of place to be creative.. which brings me to the second question, should i really care about the number of trees?

Make a giant pink heart with flowers. I used flowers to fill in a blank area. Decided on the shape of my home state in my favorite football team colors.

I need some help deciding flower arrangements. They would be going in a very royal-themed quartz white garden.

I definitely want white, red, and gold, but I’m not to sure on the red:white ratio and which flowers give the best shades.

Ah, I see. Personally, I use gold flowers as accents, like highlighting a waterfall or a certain item. Theyre so bright that your eyes naturally are drawn to them lol - you're island looks really good so far and I think red would pop a lot more against the white backgrounds than the pink~

Lol, been there. I’ll have to post more pictures after work, but my Island was originally a structured neighborhood in the area between the rivers that bound my start area and then I moved them around and gave them small yards in the natura area with paths to their houses. Now my original start area is kind of an urban development with parks, sports areas, nature trails, etc. this main park changes with the seasons to keep it fresh.

Ok so the path I use is this one : MA-6647-9230-4716. I believe it’s the original path that everyone was crazed about. That’s the creator code and they have a ton of variants that are all simple but great

MA-5765-8794-2470 has a few path ends and extras that go with the other one that I showed you.

Some more intricate and detailed paths come from MA-3995-5109-8233 with paw prints, puddles, flowers etc

Wooden planks and stones are from MA-8511-9497-6748. I also have some great planks brick patters and my creator code is 8884-2984-4299

I'm not sure what type of style you're aiming for with your town, but a picnic area might be nice. Or a small spot where you can gaze at the stars, which would tie in with the museum being right there. Although, I do agree with everyone else. I think the best option would be to fill it up with trees, flowers, and shrubbery since it's such a small area. Adding anything more extravagant might be too much on the eyes for such a small spot.
