I agree if you're going to place a face it might be a little small. Maybe try moving the house over a few tiles so that it's not so close to the beach there. Or, you could have the fence right up against the house on one side, it doesn't matter so much. Try extending it on the right a little and see how it looks

I need some inspiration, but it seems like my island layout is kind of “rare” among ACNH players. I’m looking for Dream Addresses. With what I found useful is by look on the internet by looking up "acnh Island ideas" by looking at photos may help you, if not, search on YouTube for island ideas. That way is how I found a bit of inspiration to do my island a little bit. And by general tips helps too because I have this island for a year and it still looks terrible. But with edition I got inspired by on YouTube, it will look nice. Electrik Neon lake we come! I mean look at mine, the only thing looks good is my actual river.

I’ve made a playground area, I had items that fitted and needed to clear some storage. I’d imagine that hypothetically parents would come here and chat at the top area while the kids would play. It’s also on the way to the townsquare so it’d be a frequently used space

it should also work like this if you want to minimise how much cliff looks like is behind it. Just make the waterfall first then round the corners

I explained this to my friend a couple days ago actually. It may look like it at first and where to start is hard as well. Try to find a small spot to start changing like the resident area, maybe make it a central plaza with shops, and work out from their or start by the entrance. All it takes is a little inspiration and a spark of imagination

What also can be good is get the sci fi recipes like a moon, ufo, rocket ships, asteroids, etc. That will bring out more of the galaxy theme too

So I think so far this is done but I do need to get some nova lights and a few more decor but this is my electric lake. It features many water falls, a cliff jump path to my home, a secret pipe, a path to see the gorgeous lakes. I hope I did really good with my landscaping skills of waterfalls and cliffs. I am still working on my island but little by little it'll get to 5 stars!

Honestly, i believe that if you’re not happy/satisfied you should keep working on it. I’ve changed around my shops and villager homes a million times, and I’ll probably continue until they’re perfect😌 But I think it looks great.

I’ve spent at least 1,000 hours creating the woodsy feel. What works for me is making sure my trees and bushes and flowers are not symmetrical. Just randomly planted. No pattern. Then the dirt path really adds natural vibes. Eventually I will replace all the random country fencing with log stakes… but that’s a lot of wood chopping lol

I think the main things streamers have mentioned are 1) figuring out what furniture is most often used in skyline builds and 2) seeing nice photos of real-life skylines. I'm sure there's wonky pictures of skylines irl (when they're taken from random perspectives), but a good photographer would know what perspectives make good picture composition

idk the best way but I simply used an already flat area and just laid down brick paths in a grid (the flowers won't jump the bricks) and started planting. I started with 9x9 then realized that would be way too big for my chosen part of the island, so I went with 4x4 instead. I was going to breed (see: 9x9) but gave up on it for awhile. Right now I'm just happy to be growing some of each color.

You can't change the color of Nook mile items unfortunately, whatever color items your island has is the color you get. The only way you can get different colored items is to trade with other people
