Oh interesting. I actually find the left one a better fit for my island personally. It's more "cartoonish," which my island also is? I've seen the new path (on the right) on a lot of islands on Twitter, but they tend to have more realistic, "calm" looking islands. But I'll try out the one on the right for a few days and see whether I like it any better 🙂

You dont work on making ur island all the time better, you fish, catch Bugs, talk to villagere, etc.
I think I had a finished Island after 200h, which I was not satisfied with tho, i am now on 300 and WIP (keep the time in the menu in mind.
Would just recommend doing everything in the game you want.
If you want to improve ur island, renovate small sections.

Example: Sherb’s yard has all blue themed items, but my island theme is cozy woodlands so I added a few plant aesthetics to keep the theme.
