those are my two favorites, though I have about half my island I'm proud of, the other half not so much

typically people make smaller winding pathways between areas, maybe hammed in by mountains or trees or anything tall on either side

and this is generally what people like to do to cut up areas and make interesting pathways. "the path" design variations are a very good idea to get this effect

yuuup, just need a sand tile underneath it and you can plant them

only issue with path designs is you typically need 8 slots to make a nice varied path

maybe more if you want something really organic

Hey, just to answer your question, you can get the villager photos my using them on harvey island, just placing them in the building, of course the villagers have to be on your actual island, otherwise you'll have to either trade for the poster, or use an amiibo so you can also order them then in the nook catalog

Well they're posters, they can be rare if you need them of a villager you don't have but normal posters you can just get from the nook catalog after using that character of harvey island. Of course the rarer version is a framed picture because you have to be best friends with the villager to get that

same, but try thinking of a theme you're interested in. do you want to make your island city like? or foresty and natural? or like a little beach town? if you don't know, you could check out pinterest for ideas, it's great. then start looking for ideas of what to build. I usually start at the entrance to connect the airport to resident services then build out from there unless I know where I want to put something, like putting a marketplace on my beach

Does Reneigh play music? or like flowers? You could maybe cater to her interests. Create a musical stage. Or a flower shop or supplies (fertilizer, wheelbarrows etc). Or perhaps a reading nook with some tea for chilling. all of those could be adjusted to suit your more tropical vibe

So my theme is kidcore and its a big mess but I wanted to tie in other themes as well... I decided to do this to one of my beaches and I think it looks pretty good

I enjoyed my flower breeding so much that I kept the area as a wild flower garden (at least two of every flower)....plus my custom festivale cushions, confetti ground...and most important part the pop colour filter when taking a pic 😉
