@shell grotto you could do one after the other. Use a section of your island early on to breed the hybrids you want, and then when you've got what you need, get rid of those huge grids and replace with what you actually want to decorate with 🙂

@paper stag I moved all my villagers and shops/museum to the beach but I didn't flatten my island. It sounds way too overwhelming for me but a good idea is to start from your entrance and build your way up!

@paper stag I'd only flatten if you have a very clear idea with what you want to do with your island. A huge blank canvas can me more intimidating than working on a small section at a time.

tip of advice: don’t flatten your island!! i did and it was so hard to build it back up, especially with no ideas. your natural layout can be used to your advantage!!

It actually made me quit the game for a while but I came back with a vision of what I wanted and I was able to make it work~ I hope you can find a design you like! But it's only an idea so you can do what @versed wadi said and work on the areas you have a clear vision for already instead of starting at the entrance! Small sections are key

Depending on what theme you're going for, you could even pull off the wedding fences

Which consist of drapy drape looking cloth xD it's very elegant and looks good with celeste star items like you used

And if you want to have small nova lights, the star clock can be turned around to look like a tiny nova light

Uhm just take your time I'd say. Some parts of my map took me 4 hours to perfect. I prefer working on one area at a time! @gray raven

One thing I learned for breaking terraforming, is if you’re breaking two pieces of land, curve one of them, and then break the straight piece of land next to it. It breaks both of those pieces faster!

Sometimes that doesnt work for me and just makes more curves but i realized that too!

Also if you're looking to make nice complex figures the bigger it is the easier!
