Maybe you could add a fence on the south side of the flowers and tie the fence in to his yard? to make the flowers feel more like his. Then you could decorate a bit more on the north side to prevent them from growing. Or, just use a transparent pattern to trap them (if you have one) 😂 @limber ginkgo

I wanted sherb’s house on the peninsula, the campsite in the bottom left on the beach where it’s biggest, and a forest/nature park behind the campsite, but it wasn’t working because resident services is so close. Excited to show you when I decorate it 🙂

@tired arrow you can take lots inspo from real life space exhibits if you look up "museum space exhibit"! Put a few Celeste space items down a line with rope fencing, maybe some space-y custom design path in the area, and info boards made from customized simple panels :)

This is how my island looks at the moment. I haven't done any terraforming. I'm hoping to have a small town, but also urban vibe. I have a pretty good idea of how I want things to look in terms of aesthetics, but I honestly have no idea where I'm going to put everything. (I'm probably going to move everything from where it currently is). @rich tree The problem is that the museum is seven wide with the entrance in the center, and the incline is two wide. What I’ve seen most people do is use two inclines leading directly up to it. Or you can put the incline(s) on the sides left and right? But then they are more hidden and not so much a feature

@trim trellis i'm a little late, but the weeds stop growing larger (and they also stop spreading) once you have 150 weeds on your island. any weeds you place after that will remain the same size as when you placed them. i think they did this to cut down on lag if people don't play for a month and log back in so their entire island isn't covered in weeds

I'm finally coming along with my island. My third redo and I think this is the one that will stay haha. As you can see the left hand side and around resident services is much more cottagecore vibes with cliffs everywhere and houses spread out while the other side is far too structured🙈
