Heya! I kinda need help with my island entrance, er, making the rest of my island have the same feel as my entrance. I just did the entrance today but I don't want to tear down absolutely everything I've made (a playground, a bakery, a little market square, a little music plaza, an outdoor ice cream parlor, and a soccer field) because I put a lot of work into it, but I'm open to suggestions of what to do. But you could set it up at stepping stones to hop around to actual land or if you have the room you can have a walkway up to a bigger pond with little 1x1 islands with maybe some flowers or custom designs of lily pads and the statue in the middle. I think it’s something to maybe play around with

@young sigil entrance looks great. I use a lot of the bamboo stuff. But you don’t need to stick to the tropical theme. I have different themed areas that you might find on a tropical island. It’s just how you make it flow nicely together

But you could set it up at stepping stones to hop around to actual land or if you have the room you can have a walkway up to a bigger pond with little 1x1 islands with maybe some flowers or custom designs of lily pads and the statue in the middle. I think it’s something to maybe play around with

I’m going for a sort of toned down/ some would say european look, however to me it should feel like an elegant statue that you see when you walk into your favorite park. So I think I’ll lay it flat with a tiny pond and the philosopher statue surrounded with little object touches. and. flowers.

what are peoples opinion on villager yard sizes? Last island, my villagers had basically 1/3rd of the island to themselves, and I feel like it made it kind of cramped, so i'm debating doing much smaller yards this time, but I figured i'd ask other people first

I'm planning to group villagers by hobby, so it's going to be a 2/3/2/1/2 housing split. Trying to do them in groups of 5 that don't have conflicting personalities too. So it'll be 2/3, then 2/1/2 somewhere else

@blazing night I personally like to give my villagers their own themed areas rather than yards. So the size varies depending on the theme and whatnot.. most of my villagers have jobs.

the plan was mini outdoor library for the education hobbyists, a playground for the 3 who play, a small fitness area for the roidheads, a small nature grove with pond for the one nature lover and I'm still trying to figure out an idea for the two music lovers
