@woven drift near the end of the cliff on the right, i recommend putting a little seating area, maybe with the iron chairs and table, what i did for nooks cranny is a cute little marketplace with some stuff i bought from there, if you want to be extra which is what i did, i buy everything from nooks cranny for that day and put it on display with a sign for sale, in case some people coming over are interested ,
to decorate ill say what i always say for natural, weeds are the best, add some flowers randomly here and there, you should also add more of those clovers around, and then to finish it off with some trees

@carmine depot Mine just has a lot of water-based stuff around it. Just put a waterfall between the two, surrounded the paths with hedges and put in flowers. That was the first design, but I am now in the process of changing it. I don't have any photos sadly...didn't take any before changing it.

@woven drift looks super cute! Maybe add a bench somewhere for your villagers to sit or something! Mine tend to sit right in front of the airport and with the bench sometimes they behave and sit in the bench aha! If you’ve got enough space to get around them though then you should be ok!

@feral agate sorry that I don’t have any photos but a little arts and crafts area would be adorable :)) I would recommend making a painting section and a clay area (using items like the pot, classic pitcher etc!)

@carmine depot im currently working on the able sisters area, but so far i have a little plaza with some stalls with aesthetic and cute outfits that fit my theme, and put them on display. fashion is crucial to me so i add an abundance of flowers everywhere, but my islands theme is natural/gold and starry, so i put a variety here and there

I did a mixture on my island. So my theme is just a straight up get away island some areas are a lot more cottage then others. More like a resort. Do what you feel is best for you!

@raven granite Quick thing that I learned with the wedding welcome sign is that the welcome is only covered by a custom design, so if you use a transparent design, and stick it up at the top of the canvas, you'll get some good results.

@ashen lance haha no it’s not a problem at all! I had a weird stone path scattered around that I just don’t like in general. I also have my smoothie bar right by my beach and next to my pool so it didn’t make too much sense to put pathing there. I did do a little market with the brick path I used throughout my island. THE ITEMS DONT FIT ON THE STALLS I KNOW. I changed it since this picture was taken if this helps! But most of my stalls I left on grass especially because of the areas they were in. If that makes sense?

Thanks a lot, there’s a trick to forcing them to gift you an item instead of clothing, become best friends, complete a task for them wether it be catching a fish or bug or a delivery. After that and only after that they will gift you their photo if you gift them something worth at least 10k bells

@woven drift a cliff needs to have at least two blocks width in order to do waterfalls. You also need to be on top of the cliff in order to make waterfalls. Note that the corner blocks will be unable to be edited
