@woven drift any flowers will work for cottagecore! I would say use primarily white and dot in some other lighter colors throughout. I can tell you from experience that using only 3-4 types of flowers together over a large area will look a bit boring/flat

if you take down cliffs, its best to do it in diff lines, don't do oneline after the other so you don't have to do corner hits

Yesss. Palm trees are just so amazing and I love how you can put them on grass (that's if u put sand underneath first) and it doesn't show the sand coming out from underneath. And that warm feeling is exactly what I was going for but I wanted to mix a couple themes altogether. Like, start off with my front being the 'vacation vibe' and then I'll slowly transition into a warmer feel where I can then add some cedar and regular trees so it suits my island a little more, like Fauna, Erik and Beau need those trees!! Also, that is exactly what I was searching for... I am so shook, that is beautiful. Thank u so much!! And ikr Saryax, it's such an annoying task to do and I'm like, surely it's equal right? It has to be... and then it turns out to be half a block away, like why can't we shift stuff to move half a block? I'll legit pay money for that to happen. Dang, that would've been such a pretty theme naomicd, money just isn't it in animal crossing, it's such a pain to have to pay like 50k to move a villagers house to move it back to practically the same spot! (sorry that took so long to respond lmao)

You see, when I originally starting remodeling I was focused on a big grand entrance or a detailed one, where I just came to the realisation that I don't need it. Not having a grand entrance makes it unique in a way... Also, vicidic, I want to add so many things but one of my closest friends finished her island ages ago and she also had the vacation vibe and she did the pool thing so I'm probably going to try to add an infinity pool, I saw it online and it looks amazing! And yes pls! That would mean everything to me :)

@haughty fern Depends on your island theme. If you like fairy themed, then white mush lamps and blue bushes/flowers. If you like mush themed, then red mush lamps and gnomes. And if you like something abit more spooky, then you can do graves, black flowers and some stone fences 🙂

I'm planning on having the skull a mountain with lots of natural spots with mountains either side and having the front half of the island a sea town on the sand. I'm also thinking about having the secret beach be a pirate hideout spot where they store their treasure and the only way you can get to it is through a secret entrance around the back!

Idrk, it’s kind of just a neighborhood rn but really close to the beach in the picture there is a lake with stars and a massive bridge overlooking it, so that’s kind of the theme of that area

@balmy violet Hmmm, that sounds pretty hard to do but def possible with the right idea in mind. You can make the park kind of chess themed to tie in the black and white park furniture. A monocromatic look would be hard to achieve since the green of the trees would clash with the black and white of the furniture c:

@random hatch I've mainly seen futuristic themed ROOMS but not really islands. I'd recommend some of the Celeste items tho, I know she gives like UFOs and space things.
