depends on how you see him really, i see him as a hobo with loads of profit from the fake arts so he likes his blings. but he can also be a classy smuggler hence the arts on the way to his boat, and the markets make sense cus he doesnt just sell arts

@hoary flax what i did to kinda start off was just plan what you want. like do you want a residential area or have the villagers spread apart? if so where would it/they go? for me i wrote every idea just in case i would forget. i also would just like to say to take your time, breathe, and go with the flow of creativity. terraforming + transforming can be very overwhelming!

That looks really nice! Just a personal opinion, but I think orchards take up too much space and could be used for something much better. Or at the very least if you plan on making an orchard spread it out to where it isn't just a straight line.

@topaz scarab at this time, I don't think there are any pond fish that spawn only on the 3rd level. that's not to say more won't be added in the future. You will want to make sure you have a 3rd level river however for certain salmon/trout species

@woven drift thats okay if you want it together. I used to have them in one area. And for me, it was not so great because i couldn’t decorate their yard properly because I already had my layout set. But since separating my villagers, I’ve noticed that they walk around and explore the different parts of the island a lot more since they are visiting their neighbors. So I prefer keeping them separated now

Good morning all. I'm stumped by this new issue I'm having and was told this would be the best place to ask. I did some googling and can't seem to find any related info other than questions about where you can and can't plant trees. I built these natural cliff "pyramid" things that are primarily ledges and water falls. I built them to showcase cross breeds and Lilly of the valley flowers. Yesterday I went and dug up some pink roses to plant some blue and gold ones, and now I'm getting an error that there is no room to plant. It seems like it's a change in the recent update. I have ledges and waterfalls on one side of my island that are full of random flowers and the goal was to replace all the flowers in these locations with cross breeds eventually. Anyone else notice this issue? If this persists, I'm gonna have to re-terraform a third of my island. @ me if you have any input, even if it's a patch notes that I haven't read, especially if you know of a work-around. Thanks in advance. Super bummed that my idea is currently dead in the water.

I thought of doing that, but the biggest issue is that it worked fine before and I certainly don't want to have to do that with the other side of my island. The entire eastern side is marsh and cliffs with flowers all over them and the plan was to replace flowers as I get them.

Like I have stitches in my camping forest area but he’s only holding that spot until I get Erik. And I’ll eventually really decorate it until he gets there. Same thing with lucky. He’s in my Japanese spa area but eventually he’ll leave the island so I can get drago.
