Hey yall, i need some input. Im planning on changing my marketplace into a garden.

Atm, this is what my entrance looks like. Its still the marketplace. The light yellow indicate paths and the gray indicate walls

@keen quiver you can also make them connect vertically by placing additional fencing between them, so it'll be in a zig-zag pattern in those spots. It can look cool, but totally depends on the look you're going for! The shrub idea is definitely a good suggestion for a more natural vibe. Also breaks up the space nicely.

One of the main issues that's never brought up during the design process is the issue of space.

People decide they want a certain look for their island, but when planning the layout, they don't fit the layout in tandem with the space available, so a lot of space ends up being wasted / looking awkward.

@opaque crest depends. for 2 movements of EVERYTHING (moving to beach then back) it’s 1060000 for buildings alone. let’s say you use all 8 bridges and inclines and they’re all ~150k each that’s an additional 2.4m bells. as for furniture i’d say give or take anywhere from 500k to 2m depending on how expensive things are and how much stuff you use. as for money i use turnips. a full inventory sold for 500 bells each is 2m so if you sell at 525 for a full inventory it’s 2m plus a tip of 100k. sell a few inventories worth and you’re set.
