You can use simple panels for walls yes, can even put a custom design on the panels as well. If you need something tall and only covering the back area a climbing wall turned around looks good as well @vapid herald

i would base it on the rest of your island, like if you tend to like red furniture, use red, etc. if you like the purple idea that would look nice. basically anything to vary it besides the blue tones

Either works but to sell it I would recommend giving space for the border. For example instead of 1 tile for walls, either extend or shorten the area by 2-3 tiles allowing for LAYERING. U can then add trees in the middle tile, fencing in the middle tile, and flowers in the front

I elevatef this area for Ables. Made holes for counting and put hedges behind where I would put ables. When I put it there I did not notice I lost the hedges. If I put them there now there is a gap next to ables. I can not move ables again. Then the waterfall arround the RS is not equal to the other side..

@rare rain you could first of all add more trees( recommendation: cedar saplings) and put fencing around the statue( recommend iron fence long or zen fencing) you can also make an outline around the path by finding a specific custom design. You can also make ur flowers more together to give it that rainbow feel... you can also put the dirt path under the flowers! You can also make a path so people can walk to this area
