You’ll have to do the hard edges first and then go in and just smooth them out when terraforming. I’m used to playing Minecraft a lot so doing it by cubes is easier for me lol

It is quite tricky. Try working around rivers, so you dont feel inclined to have rigid sides of areas (like this) notice how the little patio is fit into the space between the road and water, and the water has another area on the other side. They are next to one another, but feel like completely different districts

I placed my museum near the secret beach hoping that I could make Redd’s docking area something like an extension of the museum. So far, I got this mixed area where it has a “delivery area” feel with all the cardboard boxes and random stuff. But I’m wondering what I can place on the second level so it’s not so bare. Also rethinking what can be done in that patch where the chair, table and roses are. Suggestions for improvement? 🥺🙈

@undone dune you can try sectioning areas of your island so that you have “districts” if you’re looking for a bit of an urban look. I’ve seen people put their shops on the 2nd level and it looks absolutely lovely!
