Poppy - as per @frosty ivy suggestion is getting a paperboy hat and being Dobie's sidekick.
Apollo - Beardo's hired muscle
Apple - Gonna start farming something other than watermelons
Lolly - The femme fatale (she might need swapping out now, Diana?)
Shep - The fall guy (basically the big lebowski)
Erik - unsure, he might get swapped I think I need a reporter of some sort.
Molly - Lives in the marshlands, where people disappear.. bit weak, maybe swap to a gator, be one of Beardo's goons

Especially the multiple direction sign post because It really looks like a 1x1 but then it isn't and i tried to use it for the centre of a 9x9 flower patch but then I found out I couldn't out the flower all the way round
